Help and help will come for you when you need it most
The most valuable lesson from minimalism that's applicable forever - and it's not money alone.
WE have been using this natural medicine from quite some time to prevent hair fall and a very close friend was very concerned about his kid's hair loss, the kid being same aged as my son. My friend has already lost his hair and spent a lot to fix some artificial hair, so it's quite possible that, his kid may tend to loose his hair, but not at this age at least. So one fine day, while we were chatting he curiously asked how everyone in my family has good hair and my answer was this natural medicine, prepared by the lady has rescued us. Then he was after me, to prepare and give it for his son. When I told him about the simple ingredients and process of preparation, he requested me to prepare it and give him instead. In return, he would give me anything I ask. So we decided to help him and I procured all the ingredients, and the lady did the fine touch of delegate cooking.
The ingredients are simple : Oil of your choice that you would apply ( we picked coconut oil as that's the one we use), then 7-10 hibiscus flowers, onion, curry leaves, Aloe vera and black cumin. You probably can get a feel of the amount from these visuals.
This Aloe vera plant was over populated in the balcony, so it was a perfect time to take all of them out and replant just one, to grow again. Aloe vera not only brings positive vibes to home, it has lot of medicinal values, which we often use. Your severe headache can go away in minutes, if you apply to your forehead. And sometimes, I drink the Aloe vera juice (with ginger and Cinnamon), to improve digestion. And it's absolutely easy to grow them - just plant and leave it to grow, all they need is watering in few days.
The cooking has to be very delegate at slow heat with continuous stirring, otherwise, the oil will tend to expand with foams and even catch fire. She stood for more than one and half hour, doing the hard part - Help is in our nerves and she always jumps in, even more than me.
After leaving it for more than a hour to cool down, the next task was packaging and I undertook that.
The amount of oil needs to be half the amount, so that is how it should be planned to cook it with these ingredients.
And then the kids jumped in with their measuring cups, funnel to pack it to be shipped. They also are like us - always inspired to help.
So overall, it was a family affair and the good news is that, after applying this oil for couple of weeks, his hair fall has reduced significantly. And interestingly, I was about to throw away all the remaining Aloe vera plants, keeping only few thick stems to drink, but then our kid showed interest to make an Aloe vera gel out of it, so I was all in. It's good to see their interest in these natural medicines, that were the only means few decades back, helping people live a healthy life. I will post about it separately, but curious what we asked in return ? My friend is a nice cook, which I know from our bachelor times, so we asked him to give us chicken curry, and he has promised to give us every Sunday, the first one already delivered 🙂 and kids just loved it.
The monetary value of these things may not be great, but the happiness of helping someone in need is a whole different feelings, that you can only feel, if you do it yourself. And believe me, help will come fro you when you will need it most - happiness is contagious.

You are sharing a very great lesson here, friend. When we help others, at the time we need help, help will come for us.
As for your recipe, 🥰 I love it. Have a good time
Thank you.

Wow. I know that hair loss treatment is big and expensive business with many people willing to spend incredible amounts of money to stop the hair loss. Pretty fascinating to see that you can cure it with this simple natural remedy :)

That is very true my friend, helping a person and even more so when you have an affinity with them it is the best feeling in the world; The best thing is that it is made with natural remedies that will not have side effects later.

Hi, @sanjeevm! This has been a very interesting read. As someone interested in natural remedies of various sorts, I'm definitely making a note of the ingredients used here, as I'm a big believer in the curative powers of plants, veggies, etc. So first, thank you for the information! :)
Second, though, while I understand this might play into your broader definition of minimalism, this isn't typically the kind of post we encourage in The Minimalist. Maybe in the future you might consider communities like Natural Medicine for this type of post. We tend to focus more on decluttering, downsizing, upcycling, as well as spiritual practices like meditation, yoga, etc. :) Thanks for understanding and it's nice to see you!
If I had known about this natural remedy before, I would have recommended it to my friends. Most of them have had hair loss since an early age. Kori leaves do not grow where I live, but I think I can find it on the internet.
Hair loss has become a widespread problem now where people from teenagers to old people suffer from this problem. I don't have this problem. But my friends talk about it and want a solution. I can't help them. If your Ayurvedic medicine works, it will be a miracle. People will be able to live without losing their hair. I thank you for your efforts because people will benefit.
Your recipe is such a powerful one and all the plants used in preparing are natural not artificial.
The truth is that yes friend, the monetary value of that specific natural medicine to stop hair loss must be great and added to the fact that it works very well, it must add much more. Although the best part is helping a friend in need, the truth is that it has no price.
i am not surprised, natural medicine for some things is very good
your receipe is: hibiscus flowers, onion, curry leaves, Aloe vera and black cumin
i take often hibiscus in tea, has good properties...my gran-gran mother lived 100 years taking them daily
curry and cumin are anti oxidating
aloe has lot of good properties
The ingredients used are things that I can easily get, I have already saved this post, am also going to make this for myself. Thank you for sharing
Now that is something to make use of. Easy to prepare, although I lost most of my hair, it's time to save the left one. Surely will try to make it.
What a nice gesture to be able to help your friend with his son. It is impressive that many of the solutions to our problems are in nature and having the knowledge combined with the willingness to help generates exceptional joy. 🎊
You have a big heart and no doubt your life will be full of blessings💫💫💫💫
Thank you so much for sharing the recipe with us and for such a valuable post 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I really like how you shared a valuable lesson with such simplicity my friend

It is good to always lend a helping hand. Thank God for assisting in getting the ingredients and the ladies who helped in the cooking
I knew a lot of people losing their hairs. I can suggest them to read this post. It might help them.
Yes, it will.
Thanks for sharing the recipe. I think this is something that I need to improve the condition of my thinning hair. 👍
Ya, better to take care now only.
So long aloe vera is there it holds a hand full of benefit. I never knew we can drink it though what else does it do if we drink the gel?

Baldness or thin hairs is in our genetics. I might try this one.
Although my hair is strong, I will prepare this oil at home, so I am reblogging it now. And yes, I have all the ingredients available including onion in our backyard. Water that you use is the primary determinant of your hairfall. Bhubaneshwar water is I think Okay. Municipality water is always good because it is treated water. Keonjhar, Jajpur Road, Sukinda area, etc anyone will become bald, for obvious reasons.
Hair is a very sensitive thing. I used to grind Onion one every week and use it on my scalp, it works well. I have never used ALoe vera on my hair, but I will definitely try it.
Yes, it's not that hard in most part.
Yes, BBSR is okay although it has deteriorated from what it was 10/15 years ago. But BBSR is still a good location in terms of natural underground water quality.
More baldness is due to hectic lifestyles of modern times. Hair transplant is an emerging business in cosmetic chain. Drink more water, have enough sleep, adopt healthy food- you will be good to go. My grandmaa uses amla pack for her hair. You can not belive at the age of 72, her hair is still black.
That's definitely a reminder to us - unfortunately, we realize very late.
I use Aloe Vera to control baldness.
