Finally Mudrex has listed hive - a big news for Hive and India
My continuous follow up has been answered now
I have been trying to connect with several exchanges in India to list #hive, so that we can start some good campaigns in the most populous country of the world, with almost everyone having access to internet. As part of this effort, I tried to connect WazirX echange several times, they do list #hive, but then it was not tradable, because it was not on the list of their active token list. Now that WazirX is almost dead, I tried to connect to two other exchanges.
Mudrex and Zebpay are two other exchanges, that seemed to be trustworthy, so I tried to connect to their executives in LinkedIn and follow up. Edu Patel, CEO of Mudrex did not reply to my invitation, however, I tried again at one of his post, see the link below :
And congratulations to all of us, finally it was heard.
Honestly I was expecting they reach to one of our witnesses to have some support to list #hive, but it seems, they did it on their own. This opens a big opportunity for #hive, because if we can campaign for #hive in India, then it may bring in some solid investors.
Mudrex is going to be in TOKEN2049 in Singapore on 18th-19th September showcasing https://saber.money/ , their B2B solution for seamless on-ramp and off-ramp services. This will empower businesses to convert fiat to crypto seamlessly, as they advertise. And they also promise to be Tax & Regulatory Compliant, which will help to win business's trust of no trouble, as that's the major bottleneck today.
So guys, tell me how do we move forward to campaign hive ? I already have plans to work on some spendhbd initiative, and need to reach out to some businesses to market. But given that India is a big opportunity, we should definitely try to make some big impact to take it to the common man to be able to use hive for their livelihoods. User retention is mostly a problem on our platform, but if we can build some great community and usage pattern here, then people will be interested to post and earn and use the reward for their daily living.
Waiting to hear back from the community. In the mean time, I am going to play around with Mudrex and see how we can transfer #hive and convert to fiat and take it to bank account. If anyone else is interested, let me know, I can transfer some hive as well, for this experiment. Now that they have listed #hive, we can certainly reach out to them for more support, if needed. We just need to showcase them the true power of this community. Hopefully, 2025 will bring some exciting news for all of us.

Hopefully, we can do some better work as a community now, when people will have ability to withdraw hive and use in their daily life.
Is Mudrex considered as a on and off ramp entry to Hive?
I will check more of them, as they are visiting Singapore, hopefully they also open up service here in SG as there is a big community of Indian local/citizens and Indian migrant workers that will benefit from it.
They are trying to showcase their latest app https://saber.money/ , for B2B solution. For India, we need exchanges listing hive and wallet support so that people can withdraw and use. And at the same time, provide support for tax and compliance, so that people / business do not fear to accept crypto.
B2B? This sounds new to me.
P2P is peer-to-peer which Binance have. But B2B is something that I’m not aware or used before
Just checked Saber, it seems that they only have EUR GBR & INR… hopefully they can make it happen with SGD (Singapore Dollars) as well as it’s not so easy to do on and off ramp here in SG
May be meet them there and ask ? If they are in SG, they should support SGD.

Now that we have one listing hive, we will work to reach to other exchanges. The more the merrier. In India, the major bottleneck for people/business to use crypto is fear of tax, but when exchanges list out, they will automatically take care of taxation, so we can easily convince businesses to accept crypto, like HIVE and HBD. And then V4App from @brainoflondon or VSC team can have something as well to take this to next level.

Wow, that's great news! I wish there was an exchange in the US that would list HIVE, but I don't really see that happening ever. Probably not as long as it is always decentralized. I guess we will just have to find other ways.

It would be great if you could reach those companies so that both #HIVE and #HBD are marketed more regularly between users and companies for the payment of goods, services
It is not only a great opportunity for India, my friend, but for everyone, so we should start making known the opportunities that both #Hive and #HBD offer us to market with different companies. I tried at the top level to get Hive listed on Luno, but my plea was ignored.
Maybe if we draw up a petition for all Saffers on Hive to sign, and we send it to Luno, something might happen.
I think I read in the terms of service of LUNO that they will not list decentralised coins. Maybe that is the reason?

Also, As you rightly mentioned in one of the comments, the biggest problem in India is that people fear taxation. We are having an active Indian community for a very long time, but it is challenging to grow because of this taxation problem. Only a few people understand it and many fear.
