Today I painted Snow White.
Snow White is a character from one of the most famous fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm. The story of Snow White was first published in 1812 in their collection "Fairy Tales of the Brothers Grimm".

Snow White is a young princess known for her extraordinary beauty, with skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood, and hair as black as ebony. Her mother, the queen, dies and her father remarries an evil queen who becomes obsessed with her beauty.
The evil queen has a magic mirror that she asks every day: "Mirror, mirror, who is the most beautiful in the world?" The mirror always answers that the queen is the most beautiful, until Snow White grows up and becomes the most beautiful in the kingdom. The jealous queen orders the huntsman to take Snow White to the forest and kill her, but the huntsman is unable to perform the act and lets Snow White escape.
Snow White takes refuge in the house of the seven dwarfs, who take her in and take care of her. But the queen discovers that Snow White is still alive and tries to kill her several times, using various tricks, including a poisoned apple. Snow White bites the apple and falls into a deep, death-like sleep. The dwarves put her in a glass coffin. At the end, the prince who is in love with Snow White comes, kisses her and wakes her from her sleep.

The story usually ends with their wedding and the defeat of the evil queen. The story of Snow White deals with the themes of jealousy, beauty and innocence, as well as the idea of ​​the victory of good over evil. Snow White is a symbol of innocence and purity, while the Evil Queen is the embodiment of envy and vanity.

The fairy tale has been adapted into numerous films, books and other media, and the most famous adaptation is Disney's animated film "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" from 1937.
