Hello #openmic community friends, I'm @samuelstifen. Welcome back to all who have participated in this Open Mic Hive event. Hopefully our performance can bring warmth to everyone, including me. Today we have entered week 218 of the Open Mic event.

For Hive Open Mic 218, the following theme: "Heroism", chosen by: @rosana6 . one of the great musicians who I think is truly extraordinary in his work, and also masters many musical instruments. Thank you for providing such a great theme this week.

As stated by @rosana6 I really agree, that "heroism is a virtue that implies certain courage and sacrifice for other people. And every heroic role is capable of doing great things whose sacrifice can save someone or a situation."

Heroism is not always limited to dramatic or heroic actions, but can also be realized through kindness and concern for others or the environment. both in material terms and in protecting society, and also providing material assistance to people in need can be considered a form of modern heroism that focuses on helping and supporting others in everyday life. Therefore, even though it does not involve aspects of physical courage, helping materially is still a noble act that can be said to be a form of heroism in society.

This week I brought you a guitar cover called eye of the Tiger from the band Survivor. The Survivor band is a rock band founded in Chicago, United States in 1978 by Jim Peterik and Frankie Sullivan. The band achieved its greatest success in the 1980s, producing many chart-topping singles, especially in the United States. This song was released in 1982.

The first time I heard this song was from the film Rocky IIl. This is an American film released in 1982 that tells the story of the journey of a boxer.

So this song also tells the story of the journey of a boxer who must rise, survive and achieve success to win a big match.

Even though it is not directly related to the theme of heroism in the traditional sense, the song "eye of the tiger" is able to provide encouragement and motivation for listeners to have a tough attitude, never give up, and a fighting spirit which are core values. heroism.

Maybe what I can conclude is the heroism in this song, to make his family and hometown proud, as an inspiration to contribute to making his hometown proud, fight for positive values, and become a figure who brings goodness to the community where he comes from. In this case, this song can be interpreted as a source of motivation to fight for and make the name of one's hometown proud as a form of modern heroism.
