Hello friends of the #openmic community, I'm @samuelstifen. Welcome back to all who have participated in this Open Mic Hive event. Hopefully our performance can provide warmth to everyone, including me. and also my audio recording is too noisy because today it was accompanied by heavy rain, and I am very grateful that it rained, because it was a blessing.

theme for hive open mic week 300 "The Crazy Week".

Cover by @avdesing

don't know what we feel to live life in a week, but we definitely feel happiness or sadness in living our days in this world.and I really feel the last week in August is very mixed, there is happiness and sadness, but the joy is not too with me all the time, and I live a lot of days that week with sadness, many problems come to me, from my full-time job, and my friends too, even with my parents.

I think it was a crazy week, a week full of sadness and depression to live. But I always talk to myself, and say that it will be okay, and the most important thing I remember is the message from my brother, "that life is full of challenges that make us crazy with the pressure of the world, face it if you want to live long". That was one of the suggestions given by my brother, which made me open my mind wider to get to know the world of this happy and sad life.

and for hive open mic week 300 I brought a song called "wake me up when september ends" which was popularized by the band green day. Green Day is an American punk rock band formed in 1986 in Berkeley, California. The band consists of the trio Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tré Cool.

maybe many know this band, one of the most popular bands in the 90s. and also many of their songs are very good, and have deep meaning for life.

This song means about the feeling of grief experienced after losing a parent. This song was written from the life story of the vocalist "billie joe armstrong". The song was written from the story of him who had to lose a father figure. He had locked himself in his room and when his mother knocked on the door, he answered, "Wake me up when September ends". Losing his father was a shocking blow for Billy, so September was always a moment full of sadness for him.

from that meaning, it must be hard to lose a father figure, especially a father who is a hero for his children who teaches everything about life and makes us stronger to face a problem and be responsible for the risks for what is taken.

but from that failure that makes us feel down, crazy, other pressures, don't make us continue to hurt ourselves, accept what must go in this world, because not always someone will be eternal forever.

I bring this song for all of us, maybe we have passed the month of August and we also feel that it is full of happiness or sadness or also the last week of August is full of madness. Hopefully, early September we can get a lot of happiness and strengthen us more in the previous month.

and maybe that's all I can say about the theme and explanation of the song that I sang this week, and thank you to Openmic and the organizing team of this event. who have spent a lot of free time for this event. This week's event is extraordinary, that we can inspire our work with freedom in this theme. Hopefully this event runs smoothly and continues to be successful. Maybe that's all I can say, I say thank you.

LYRICH-WAKE ME UP WHEN SEPTEMBER ENDS

Summer has come and passed
The innocent can never last
Wake me up when September ends

Like my fathers come to pass
Seven years has gone so fast
Wake me up when September ends

Here comes the rain again
Falling from the stars
Drenched in my pain again
Becoming who we are

As my memory rests
But never forgets what I lost
Wake me up when September ends

Summer has come and passed
The innocent can never last
Wake me up when September ends

Ring out the bells again
Like we did when spring began
Wake me up when September ends

Here comes the rain again
Falling from the stars
Drenched in my pain again
Becoming who we are

As my memory rests
But never forgets what I lost
Wake me up when September ends

Summer has come and passed
The innocent can never last
Wake me up when September ends

Like my father's come to pass
Twenty years has gone so fast
Wake me up when September ends
Wake me up when September ends
Wake me up when September ends
