Summary Of The Weekend Engagement

The 35th Hive-Naija weekend engagement kicked off on Friday (26th August 2022) and ended on Sunday(28th August 2022) at 11:59 pm (GMT+1). It was an interesting chat as we gathered together to gist, learn and show love to each other.

The topic was "Blogging or Vlogging On Hive"

We broke our own record again and exceeded our highest number of comments. 850+ is a new high and honestly i can't believe it!

I think it's okay for everyone to work based on their area of strength. I've seen people jump into what they are not equipped for and they make a mess of themselves. In everything, know thyself.
I know those who find it so hard to put words together in writing but they can speak so well. There are those who don't speak so well but find comfort with writing. I know a lot of people that told me writing isn't for them and it's fine.
For me, I would go with blogging because of the kind of person I am. I might have a loud mind but I am a quiet person. I don't talk too much. I don't like talking too much but I can type too much. I speak only when I have to... Writing comes easy to me so I would go with blogging.

@hopestylist who has been very active week in week out says;

I will go for both and that's because I always love making a write up even after making a video because I think that way everyone gets to benefit from the post.
Which is easier for you to create?
Writing is a lot easier for me because I am already used to it but recently when I started making my music videos, I think videos are easier but I just still prefer writing to the videos because I don't get to sing all the time.

It depends because I notice most times it's about how lucky you're. Nevertheless videos has given me more payouts than writing.
Is it difficult to face the camera, How were you able to become a Vlogger?
Facing the camera is a very easy thing for me as I have been doing it way back even before joining hive. So, it was all fun for me making videos.
