The noise and its effect

Greetings!

One word that is strong and should not be joked with is POLLUTION. Anytime I see or hear the word pollution, first thing that used to come to my mind is the adverse effect or the negativity that is associated with word. So, now talking about the word pollution in itself, pollution has to do with the introduction of harmful or contaminated substances into the environment which at the end caused adverse effects on the natural habitat, the people's economy and most importantly on the human health.

So, looking at these effects of pollution, one would realize that pollution is a deadly thing that should not be joked with and rather than joking with it, it should be well prevented before it's introduced into the airspace of the environment. There's many types of pollution which can be so harmful the environment, but I would like to talk about the constant one in my area, though, the others can also be seen or felt in my area, but not as rampant as that of the noise pollution which will be full discussed by me in the course of my writing.

One rampant pollution in my area, or let me say where I live is the noise pollution. But like I said earlier, there's other pollutions in my area. Pollution like the air pollution, soil pollution, water pollution and others are also felt and seen in my area, but the most common one that disturbs so much in my area is the noise pollution.

The noise pollution in my area has overtime become a normal one and this is because of the location and proximity of where I stays. My place of residence is located in the heart of the town which its proximity is very close to the main road, and not even too far to one of the major market in the town.

So, like I said earlier, the noise in my area is just a normal thing as the blaring of the horn, noise from the generating set and the noise from the market have always become the order of the day in my area and that there's no way to even come against all these noises just because both the blaring of honour and the noise from the market have their own significance. For the blaring of horn, safety is as stake, and market negotiation is just a normal interaction in the market which must by nature takes place everyday.

Now, apart from these two form of noise pollution which cannot be totally eradicated due to the nature and the purpose they serve in the community in which one is for safety and even the sound of the engine which enables the truck to move can't also be stopped plus the noise that comes out of the market which is natural and has been in existence for long.

so, apart from these two, the noise from the religious bodies through their external Ahuja speakers is another form of noise pollution in my area, aside this also, we now have filling station with their speakers on both in the day and in the night trying to make their place lively, but also disturbing the peace of the neighborhood with the noise coming from their speakers when they play music or tunes to the FM radio. Not only this, even the DJs and those selling CDs are not left out of those contributing the noises in the neighborhood there by polluting the environment with the noise coming from their respective speakers. Though, they too are trying to boost their businesses, but notwithstanding, it shouldn't be at the detriment of other.

So, it's for this reasons that the landlord association in my area made it a point of necessity to curb all these form of noise pollution in the area, most especially from the religious bodies, the filling stations and those selling CDs. So, rising from their recent meeting, a circular was sent to all those involved telling them on how to curb the pollution in the area, this new law from the landlords stated the time and the level of the volume in which these people must operate. Though, we have not got the expected result on the issue of noise pollution in the neighborhood, but it's drastically reduced. And what this means is that we are gradually getting there.
