Use Time, Don't Waste It
Time is among the very essence of human existence. This is the reason why time is regarded as an asset and as such, it should not be wasted by being inactive. Wasting time is almost equated to wasting opportunity because opportunities are encapsulated in the usage of time. One of the wasters of time and opportunity is procrastination. While someone is waiting for a supposed right time to take actions, someone else is already taking the actions. Of course, just as opportunities, time will not wait for any human.
Each time you leave a task you are meant to achieve today to another day or procrastinate an action, you are already missing opportunities and killing time without even knowing. A very visible proof of procrastination is indecision. If you are undecided about an action, then you have indirectly decided not to take the actions and that is an evidence of procrastination. Also, delaying an action is also an onset of procrastination. There are some actions whose results have time-validity. That is, the validity of such actions are bound by a certain time, after which they will become invalid.
More often than not, delaying an action ultimately results in the same effects as not taking the action because time would have already been lost. This reminds me of a phrase that is normally used by one of my friends in relation to time and actions, he said; "delayed action and inaction have the same consequence - loss of opportunity and wastage of time." The same opportunity that you are deferring is earnestly contented by someone else and they are already making a move towards it while you remain inactive. The truth is that even though other opportunities may come, but the one you lost may not present to you again, at least not in the same manner.
It is worthy to note that, a time; once gone; may never be gotten back again. In fairness and in all equity, nature and life has given to all humans an equal 24 hours in a day, but it is now your responsibility to determine what to do with your time and how to use it effectively for your own gain. Yes, life may have gifted you time, but what you do with the time is your own gift back to life. So the question is, how well have you gifted life back for the time it has gifted you in the first place? You may not know but the world is already moving at an incredible pace, so to keep up with it, you cannot afford to waste time through inactions or through unworthy things.
More often than not, the opportunities that you have been waiting for is not only waiting for you to take actions, but is already staring you in the face, but why many people do not seem to notice it is because of lack of relevant actions, and of course, the opportunity may not look like it. So if you keep waiting for the right time to take actions towards the opportunity, you will end up not taking the action at all. This also holds true for your ideas and your dreams: when you have a dream of what you want to achieve and when you conceive an idea, you have to start immediately to take actions towards it.
The dangers of delay is so much that it may not only defeat the purpose of the actions but it may invalidate the results. Even when two equities have similar or equal opportunity, the first on time will normally be favoured and will prevail over the other. So you see, at any point in your life's journey, do not allow time to be against you, but you should use time in your favour. As time passes, it is only the person that utilizes their time well that will get benefits from time. One of the things to always have in mind is that it is the actions that you take today that will come as results tomorrow, so do not procrastinate todays actions, otherwise the results will not be as desired.

Wow, I'm so impressed at how you took your time to explain the essence of time and the consequences of not using time well. So many have been a victim of wasting time, myself included, recently I just feel like I procrastinate too much and I'm still looking for a way to balance things up and then I got the opportunity to read this beautiful piece and I feel encouraged and motivated to make things right somehow.
Indeed life has given us time and the way we use the time shows how grateful we are for the time we have been given. Thank you so much sir for sharing this awesome piece with us, I'm most grateful really.
Wow! What an awesome comment. Thanks a lot for coming around friend @hopestylist
You're welcome friend, it's been a while, hehe. How have you been?
Mostly I find myself lagging. I know I have to do this at this time but I end up postponing it all the time. Mostly it feels great not doing anything but then when I realize I have unfinished or unattended to goals then I become worried.
One thing I've always wanted to do is to have a schedule for the day. It should be ideal but at the end of the day I find it difficult to organize my day. Are there any suggestions as to how I can do this?
My suggestion is simply: the only way to get a task done is to begin it. Have your mind on the goal for the day, and then take actions towards it. Very importantly, try to break the task into bits, so that you can take them one after the other.
I hope this helps.
Thanks buddy
Yes, this strategy looks like it will help a lot.
Time wait for nobody so we must not waste it on anything that is not necessary
Because once the time passes you can never have it back
The only thing you can do is to make use of the remaining time left for meaningful thing
That's right. We should not waste time.
Thanks friend @princess-dara
Like our fathers will always say time na money
Yes oo. There is truism in the adage
