THE MASK WE WEAR :- The Silent Pains of a Man
Did you know that alot of people hide behind the facade of happiness, joy and peace when in reality they are hurting like hell within them. Often times alot of men out there don't want to show their emotional side of pains and struggles in other to put a smile on the faces of those they love, they go through alot of struggles within them but saddle with the responsibilities of providing and protecting they don't want to show that vulnerable side of pain, tiredness and distress. Do you know the biggest lie a man is ever going to tell you when he is going to pains, heartaches and struggles is "Am ok" or "Am fine" because that is the default answer we have been programmed with to give regardless of what we are going through because it is better to tackle and provide a solution to that problem than openly admitting it.

It's hard being a man, it's awfully difficult and sometimes you wish you don't have to be so strong you know, you can just get a minute to chill, your also a human being but no, who's gonna pickup the slack when you are gone? Who's gonna make sure everything doesn't fall on it's head when you take a break? No one, that's why men endure any condition of hardship so that they don't give excuses later in life when things don't work out. There is a logical belief that If you stay in bed, if you stay in the couch, if you stay in your comfort zone, if you only do what is easy your life will be hard. But if you do what is hard, if you get up, if you are relentless, if you work as hard as possible when other people are slacking off your life will be easy.

A friend of mine was asked a question 'is it ok to be a man' his response was it's not ok but necessary, further saying that what will the world do without men, looking at the towns and cities being built, the men are really doing impossible things. He also said if you look at those that are working on the power lines both in the storms and rains, working on the sewers regardless of how disgusting it is, taking on the risky jobs, they are trying their utmost best to keep all these impossible infrastructure functioning sacrificing their body and energy to do it and often literally the gratitude for that is not allocated for most. But they still smile each day, coming back home from work and hugging their kids, wife, or mother dropping everything aside just to feel the warmth of the family, of their loved ones because whatever they are doing, everything they are going through is just for one purpose only which is to provide, protect and make their families happy.

There is a saying "don't judge a book by it's cover", I very much like this saying and uses it every time because you can never know what a person is going through unless you are in the person's shoes or the person tells you himself because most people just hide their sorrow and grief behind the mask of a smile everyday scared for people not to find out how broken by pain they are, even though they know there might be someone who will be willing to help when asked upon but most people will judge you first before ever considering anything else.
Shout out to all the hardworking fathers, husband, brothers and men out there who are working tirelessly to put a smile on their families faces regardless of what they are going through and making sure their family never experience the pains and suffering and also making sure they never find out about the pains they are going through just to put food on the table for them
This post is just like a reminder for you to see the struggles all men, father's, brother's and husbands go through each day in their respective field just for the sake of their families and those they love.
Respect to all the hardworking men out there and God bless and protect your hustle.
Regardless of the challenges we humans pass through we never let it subdue us, because we believe firmly in grace. Thank you for sharing this
