Floral Embroidery 🪡 | Needlework monday

Hello guys. Here I am again a week later and this is my post for the Needlework Monday contest. Today the weather was quite pleasant as it rained quite heavily, due to which a strong wind started blowing. Last time I embroidered, I got a lot of good comments on it and it got me motivated. This time I have embroidered white flowers on a colored fabric which is really attractive. I used white and yellow thread to make the flowers while green leaves and pink ribbon. Hope you like my embroidery. Let's start with the procedure.

Procedure

When I woke up today morning, it was raining lightly and the weather was quite pleasant. After breakfast I took advantage of the cool weather and sat down to embroider. I always like to design flowers in different ways. This time I wanted to make white flowers so I made a beautiful sketch of them and tied them with a ribbon to add to its beauty.

I finished the sketch in about 10 minutes and after making a good sketch I first put the white thread in the needle and started embroidering the flowers. It was easy for me to embroider the flowers as this stitch is my favourite. Then I embroidered the inside of the flowers with yellow thread. I didn't have yellow thread and I just bought it from the market yesterday and this thread was quite neat. The dark yellow color is my favorite so I try to use it in all my embroideries.

Now the rain had stopped and a cold wind started blowing. I had a lot of fun embroidering in this cold air. Then I used both dark green and light green threads to embroider the leaves. I used light green for the new leaves and dark green for the old leaves because I thought it would look prettier that way. It took me a little longer to embroider the leaves but it was enjoyable. After finishing embroidering the leaves, I embroidered the ribbon with pink thread and that too was soon completed. It took me two hours to complete the entire embroidery. Wow, It's beautiful. but I feel it would be better if you used light colored clothes instead of brown color cloth. I just feel it.

I have used colored cloth for the first time and I also didn't like it. Next time I will try to embroider on white or some light colored fabric
