Hello guys. This is my first time participating in the #hivediy community and I'm also quite nervous. First I read all the community rules thoroughly. As you may have guessed from reading the above title, I have created a beautiful handmade birthday card. I didn't know this card could be of use to anyone. Actually when I was making this card my sister asked me what are you making and I told her I was making a birthday card. He asked who are you making it for and I replied that I don't know who it is for so he requested me to give this card to me when it is done because my friend's birthday after two days, I'll send him this card to wish him. I agreed to give the card when it will be done. Hope you like this card I made. Now let's go started with the procedure.
Material
- Black, Pink and White Card Paper
- White and Pink Pearl
- White Thread
- Glue
- Scissor
Procedure
I was very excited to make this card and I was thinking of designing it. I had a beautiful idea in my mind, but while making it according to that idea, I don't know when that idea completely changed 😅 I went to a stationery shop and bought some essentials and after returning home I sat down to make it.
First I took the black card paper and cut it into a rectangle shape with the help of scissor and then I cut a square shape from the white card paper and glued it on top of the black card paper with glue. So far it was very easy
Now I took pink card paper and made some hearts out of it. I am quite fond of making paper hearts from childhood. When I was in school, I had a small scissor in my bag and took the papers from my copy and made them hearts and maybe due to this practice today I cut these hearts into good shape 😁
Now I took the white thread and cut them into three pieces and I placed one side of them on the lower side of the heart and glued them with the help of glue. At this moment it looks like three hearts are hanging with the moon in the dark night.
Now the next step is to design the flowers. I made several types of flowers like five-petaled and three-petaled. But I didn't like any of the designs. I spent almost half an hour designing the flowers in different ways. Finally I designed a flower with 10 petals and there is a complicated process to design this flower. I have taken a picture of each process you can see below.
Finally I have designed some beautiful flowers from pink card paper and now put these flowers beautifully on the black card paper. I believed in my hard work that the flowers would be beautiful. Before making it I thought that pink color would not look good with black color but I was proved wrong. Don't forget to give me feedback on how you like the black and pink color combination.
The birthday card is completing soon and I was eager to see the final look so I quickly took the pink and white pearls and started attaching them with glue. I placed pink pearls between the flowers and made a string of pink and white pearls.
I had completed the card but then suddenly an idea came to my mind that two more hearts can be hung on one corner to make it look more attractive and beautiful. Then I hung two more hearts with the help of thread. Now I put some more hearts on top of it to see if it would look pretty but I didn't think it fit so I removed them. I had a great day designing this card. I tried my best to describe each of my actions and process in beautiful words. I hope you will like a lot of my birthday card
