Updates on Project Distriator

Improvements & Bug fixes in reports

• Radio buttons
  • We used to have a switch in the center to switch the graphs which was confusing UX.
  • We replaced it with radio button for more clarity.
• Counts as int values
  • Reports showing counts doesn't need float value.
  • We fixed this issue for all reports.
• Sorted descending for Count graphs
  • All reports with HBD values were sorted
  • However, reports with counts were also sorted with HBD values.
  • We addressed this issue & all the count reports are now sorted properly.

Oops!

• After adding improvments & fixing bugs listed above, we decided to ship.
• And just before going bed, we gave a last try on production.
• And! Oops! It failed on production.

Fallback ! Rollback!

• We immediately rolled back changes
• Thanks to Google's Firebase hosting, we were in positing to roll back in minutes without doing anything other than just one click.
• We'll attempt to ship again tomorrow after thorough testing.

Updates: Video Encoder Nodes

• I'm running 12 powerful video encoder nodes for 3Speak Community Members.
• Monthly internet bandwidth usage which exceeds 15 TB, Maintenance cost, Electricity backup, Internet backup, Depreciation cost - it's all on me.
• On 2024-09-08, 3Speak published total 198 videos.
• My video encoder nodes encoded 183 videos from 198 videos published.
• It means, my encoder nodes encoded 92.42 % of total videos published on 2024-09-08
