Project: Distriator

Customer Support - user was not able to claim

• We completed one customer support ticket today.
• One of the user was not able to claim & @startkerz reported about this.
• By looking at the data, I found that there were issues in trusted-guides-commission distribution.
• In correct hive username for one of the trusted-guide => this was the root cause of the failure of the claim.
• After rectifying the issue, we updated the data in shared excel sheet & backend-data as well.
• Pushed changes to production & after that we attempted claim again.
• We were able to transfer the claim to the user @bitjoe369

Whitelisting a new business

• Based on request from @starkerz, I onborded a new business.
• I didn't have the full details of the business at that time.
• Due to which, I added the business with dummy values.
• As soon as the business is verified & I've more details, I'll take necessary steps to update everything.

Backend - Business Verification attributes

• Requirement changes & we need to keep the track of verified business with valid links
• With verification links, admins will be able to review the businesses & whitelist it.
• Hive users can claim only on whitelisted businesses
• As you can see in the screenshot above, we've added number of attributes related to verification.
• On top of that, we also have updated default payment methods.

Backend - posting data on chain

• We also attempted to post a custom_json on hive block chain.
• This new data posting also includes new verification attributes.
• custom_json includes all attributes in one go
• It is published only after validating all trusted business guide's hive username

3Speak - let go of beneficiary rewards

• As you can see in the screenshot above, I've applied changes related to beneficiaries.
• For Videos encoded by my nodes, I won't be taking beneficiary rewards.
• I am running 12 powerful video encoder nodes for 3Speak community members.

Updates: Video Encoder Nodes

• I'm running 12 powerful video encoder nodes for 3Speak Community Members.
• Monthly internet bandwidth usage which exceeds 15 TB, Maintenance cost, Electricity backup, Internet backup, Depreciation cost - it's all on me.
• On 2024-08-07, 3Speak published total 143 videos.
• My video encoder nodes encoded 58 videos from 143 videos published.
• It means, my encoder nodes encoded 40.56 % of total videos published on 2024-08-07
