2024-07-29 - Distriator - Trusted business guides will also have city, country attributes

Welcome to daily updates from @sagarkothari88 - a Hive Witness & mobile-app-developer. I daily invest my time with my skillset in #Hive & I daily hive-power-up.
Project: Distriator
- Based on instructions from @starkerz, today I worked on adding city, state for trusted business guides.
- Trusted Business Guides only should see & moderate the businesses within their city.
- While adding a new trusted guide, admin must specify city & state of the guide.
- We'll also add a link in the app where a hive-user can apply for becoming a trusted business guide
- Upon request, I had to update the business guide's schema
- Once you update schema, it has chain impact.
- I had to update the code wherever trusted-business guides were being used.
- I also had to update all the broadcast operations
- These broadcasts happen when a business guide is added or updated or removed.
- All of these operations will now also include city & country details
- While syncing from blockchain to database, only upon finding valid attributes on a custom_json operation, changes will be applied to database.
- It is applicable to all business-guides related blockchain-sync functions.
What's next?
- Start putting distriator-businesses on hive-blockchain
- Execute blockchain-sync locally & test.
- Upon finding it doing well, deploy it.
- Before deploying it, take database backup
- Take necessary actions for ready-rollback if something goes wrong.

- We've added account switching feature.

- I'm running 12 powerful video encoder nodes for 3Speak Community Members.
- Monthly internet bandwidth usage which exceeds 15 TB, Maintenance cost, Electricity backup, Internet backup, Depreciation cost - it's all on me.
- On 2024-07-29, 3Speak published total 114 videos.
- My video encoder nodes encoded 93 videos from 114 videos published.
- It means, my encoder nodes encoded 81.58 % of total videos published on 2024-07-29
