Well, today I will discuss how to make a typical Aceh banana timphan cake.
Timphan is a typical Aceh cake.
Usually people in Aceh make timphan cakes for snacks in the morning and there are also people who make them for market snacks, because most people here before carrying out their daily activities hang out at coffee shops and while drinking coffee they also eat snacks that yes, one of them is timphan.

Now we will discuss about the ingredients and how to make it.
First we prepare the glutinous rice flour, bananas, grated coconut, sugar, salt and oil.
Well, now we enter the next event, namely how to make it.
The way to make it is very easy, namely.
Outer Material:
200 gram glutinous rice flour
250 grams of bananas
Salt to taste, and
Sugar to taste.
Ingredients for filling
Grated coconut add a little salt, and sugar to taste.


How to make:
First, puree the banana.
Then add a little salt.
After that add the flour little by little while stirring until smooth until the dough can be scavenged.
Take some oil and rub it on a banana leaf
Then take enough dough and flatten it on a banana leaf that has been smeared with oil.
Take the stuffing that has been stirred with salt and sugar and flatten it on top of the dough that was flattened earlier.
Then roll it in a banana leaf and don't forget to fold the ends so it doesn't spill.
The next step is steaming. Steam over medium heat for about 15 minutes.
