Hope amidst hopelessness

Morning is the sign of a new beginning, which means it is a fresh start. That is how I have tried to keep myself motivated in dark times. Recently, the people around me are not in good health, and that has affected me in many ways. It is only natural to be healthy and unhealthy. It is a part of life, but sometimes, when you are blessed with good health for too long, you may forget the pain of being sick. That thought kills.

Around me, 5-6 people are in hospital beds. I have never faced a situation like that. I have been running for blood like a lunatic. Still, it feels not enough, when you are unable to help them. Only if we all, humans, had the same blood type. Then it would have been much easier to donate blood.

Keeping that aside, you need to keep faith. You need to have hope that things are going to be okay. In times like these, I visit the hospital rarely. Rather, I choose to search for peace and sanity at home. Staying confined makes it a lot easier than talking about another loss and a worse situation. This is how I view it because I cannot take such words of condolence nor give much.

If my visit would enlighten the sick person, if my visit would be helpful for that person, then I am willing to make a visit. I have seen many people making a crowd in the hospital and them calling it a normal norm. I have seen how that financially puts the patient's family in turmoil. I have seen more menacing cases. If we call ourselves knowledgeable, we must act like one.

Crowding and pressurizing the family of the sick is not a work of a sane person. You are definitely not mindful of your actions. While the family is going through a deterioration of both mental and physical health, the least one can do is lessen the burden or seize to make it more burdensome.

Health is a very sensitive subject, so I believe in making it less complex. In the middle of the chaotic situation, I believe that hope still exists. The person who is sick, he/she will always need motivation. If you are that person who can make it easier for them to tolerate their bad days then go ahead and cheer them on. If your contribution can make their life a beautiful place, choose to be the person to make the change. However, always being cautious is all we can do.

Although, everyone is doing bad yet I hope that things will come in place. The doctors are working hard from their angle and we must believe it and do our part of the task. It is not easy to be taking care of another. It is always hard but once you make it a habit, it all becomes a part of life.
