RE: Un final para un relato (RETO) / An ending for a story (CHALLENGE)

Mi participación en Un final para un relato (RETO):

Desde la colina Poe narraba y con el hilo de su voz movía al pueblo, a su antojo. Uno a uno caía al suelo, muerto, en una crueldad que amenazaba acabar con el mundo. Todos menos una parecía sucumbir a su voz. Ella se acerco colina arriba y tomo en sus delicadas manos el rostro de Poe que seguía intentando manejarla a su antojo. Fue tanta su rabia al no poder con la pequeña Selena que reventó. Lo que nunca supo es que Selena era sorda de nacimiento.

My participation in An end to a story (CHALLENGE):

From the hill Poe narrated and with the thread of his voice he moved the town, at will. One by one they fell to the ground, dead, in a cruelty that threatened to end the world. All but one seemed to succumb to her voice. She approached up the hill and took in her delicate hands the face of Poe who kept trying to handle her as he pleased. His rage at not being able to with little Selena was so great that he burst. What he never knew is that Selena was deaf from birth.
