Family Identity
There is that characteristic trait or habit that can be tied to every family. It can be the shape of the Head, body, size of the nose or ears, complexion height or physique. It is so prominent in some family it's their identity, I believe you know them right?
The irony is, it's not in my family.
I can come and lie about one feature in my family and then paste it in the community and earn some point, and recognition. The thing is, it would still be a lie, we are so different that the only thing we have in common is the surname we share "UKPA".
I can't really pinpoint a specific genetic trait. According to our parents that we all took different characteristics from our grandparents. The head shape is common in two people out of eight, and the face is different in those two people. Among the eight of us we have varying shade of complexion and skin tone.
I find it disturbing when people say my two brothers look like me. I often have tell them that it's just because they knew the two boys were related to me. Okay that is physique, how about habits. I recall watching a jackie chan movie were one of a the male actor was being chase to capture, for sleeping with a Russian Mafia's daughter. He was to claim responsibility for the pregnancy, but he refused, at the end were he became a matured man and went to claim the baby, it looked like one of the mafia's daughter bodyguard, I mean photocopy even with the way he twists his face.
Habits can also be shared in the family. Some so prominent it's like seeing the two identical twins. That two we don't have it. You see we never grew up together. So how can we develop a single habit. Even those ones that people will consider it because you guys are family, lol.
I guess Gregor Mendel studies didn't account for my family, lol. To actually say we didn't share anything at all in common would still be another lie. We have some similarities that can exist in two, out of eight. For me I have observed, it's just the shape of the head, we have a boxed V shaped head, which I share with the last born and that's all. And a big nose which I share with the 5th born.
We are a colourful family. Okay I am not feeling sad for what we can not control, being honest here I dont know if I should be happy or sad. I have embarrassed the diversity and celebrated it in many occasions, to crown it more worse, we don't really stay together.
I forget some of them are even trying to change their surname, lol. If they do that (in a scenery where I don't know them) imagine brushing shoulders with a family member without know he or she is blood. It is not the identify or specific trait that keep the family happy or lively, it's not that increase the bond. Some time the most diverse family stick out for each other more than other.
Mercy: I hope I didn't violate any community rules with the post.

No, Sir. You violated no rules and if I'm being honest, I'd say that it is almost the same thing my sisters and I face only that there are certain points or angles we keep our faces and then we end up looking the same. But yeah, families are different so... it's not deep as far as the love is still there.
Thank you.
The angle thing you share, I will try to explore and see if it works.
The love is more important.
I have this same issue in my family as well. My siblings an I look nothing alike. But if you see the grandchildren, they look like siblings. All of them almost one face😅😅
Lol. Lucky grandchildren.
Thank you
Not every family has a trait together. Some families have different unique features too.
