I'm Ray Anthony Velarde, I don't know my age, a Filipino from Bulacan, Philippines. I am a graduate of Food Technology and Hotel and Restaurant Management (I can cook, but I don't have a passion for cooking), I worked as a Travel Agent for 8 years before the Pandemic and enjoy travel as part of my job,
Been into the Northern part Batanes Islands here the well known Honesty Coffee Shop,a Cafe with no Staff.

Down south Davao City for the Philippine Eagle Center

or the Newly discovered (during those time) Enchanted River of Surigao

those were supposedly Chocolate Hills of Bohol..

I consider my Second hometown Sagada, This is the Bomod-Ok Falls

and MORE PLACES!!!
So much into travel and leisure's has been gone due to pandemic, hahaha

More about me:
I express myself thru art, I discover I had a skill for making costumes during a RUNWAY Fashion Show "Warriors of the Earth" facilitated by an LGBTQIA Community where I was a member. I don't do cross-dressing on a casual basis but I find it cool when I'm wearing a female costume since I don't have a good male build of abs and muscles so I participated as a female participant, with the costume Materials should be all recyclable, I did my Fire using newspapers my Air using Wires and Jute strings, Water with candy Wrappers and Earth with Dried Bamboo Leaves.

To my surprise, some participants loved my work from there I'm receiving job orders for a costume. Then it all started.

The most memorable craft I made was from the Local Tv Show "TOUGH MODEL of "Show Time"

I did the Daily and Weekly costumes for the Grand Winner during his prelims.

Aside from costumes I also do props.

My recent job order for Wonder Woman after 2 Years of Pandemic, its made with Leatherette..

Yup, that's me wearing Wonder woman during Pride March, I feel like an instant Celebrity, Picture here there everywhere endlessly, but this shot was featured in a Regional Magazine, I never thought I have this shot until a friend told me. Isnt it perfect, Mad Hatter and Wonderwoman crosses the street.

MY HIVE JOURNEY
Since the Pandemic strikes, tourism drops to zero, people are not allowed to travel, then so the company I'm working in had no choice but to get closed. It's sad on my part, even the events are not allowed, my costume-making sideline is also affected.
Been a by-stander for years (just teaching my mom how to bake).
Luckily, I was hired by a friend as a sitter for her 12-year-old special son. I worked as a stay-in, Wi-Fi is free. During those time Axie Infinity has been a widely talked about on social media, to my curiosity, I tried to research about it and how they earn a lot by just playing the game, I also try to apply as a scholar but I don't have the luck, until I search for other Play-to-earn Game,
So as SPLINTERLAND came in, I fell really hooked with Hive Games, the convenience of swapping token. Not knowing there's a lot more than games (I'm playing Rising Star and Rabona as well, great games)

Aside from Gaming, I discovered these great Hive communities (Like CineTV, Rabona, Splinterlands Rising Stars) , currently I have a very active local Hive group doing BLOGS so I get a chance to engage with them and learning what they are doing, the most common would be the Splinterlands Art and Alien Art.

I Admit, I can draw but not my cup of tea, the community knows me for doing costumes for cosplay but I already knew I may present my craft as an art (Im just a bit shy) most post for SplinterArt were drawing or 3d animations etc.
Cosplaying could be something new that I can offer, until someone from the community verify if cosplaying is Okay, and it was... since its an art and if it follows the term to qualify for splinterart.. <3
Its lovely to hear, I can make myself a little busy now..
