Having breakfast

Starting your day with a little person can be fun! Waking up with Little Man and following a certain morning routine is what I really enjoyed this summer. Normally, he'll wake up and start calling Mama while pulling my shirt so that I can wake up too.

After some snuggles, we'll get out of bed and look for his dad who will already be at work. Then, it's time to change his heavy diaper after a long night's sleep, have some milk and then maybe share some breakfast together.

Where we're having some bread with homemade peach jam made by my mother's hands! She didn't put much sugar so it came out a little sour, but that didn't seem to bother this naughty little monkey!! He devoured every piece of bread with jam I offered to him and also wanted to get some extra taste himself 🤣

I think he still hasn't figured out what's the right way to use a spoon...

Tomorrow is my first day at work again since schools are about to open next week and I have to say that even though I 've got tired of staying at home with my Little Man and I miss working (just a little though, as I can't complain that enjoying summer vacations paid by the Employment service benefits is a torture), I will definitely miss our morning routine those following months. Fortunately, we have the weekends and national holidays to spend all day together, but it's not always the same.

I hate it when I get mixed feelings like that...
