Праздник Ханами с нами | Hanami holiday with us

Сегодня и я присоединилась к чужому празднику (хотя "свой-чужой" в этом природном явлении - вещь относительная).

Today I joined someone else's holiday (although "friend or foe" in this natural phenomenon is a relative thing).

Ханами — японская многовековая традиция проведения пикников под цветущими деревьями сакуры или умэ. Начало обычаю было положено в период Нара (710—794), и тогда основное внимание получали цветы сливы умэ. К началу периода Хэйан (794—1185) сакура уже привлекала больше внимания, а слово «ханами» стало синонимично слову «сакура».

Hanami is a centuries-old Japanese tradition of picnicking under cherry blossom or ume trees. The custom began in the Nara period (710-794), when ume plum blossoms received the most attention. By the beginning of the Heian period (794-1185), sakura was already attracting more attention, and the word "hanami" became synonymous with the word "sakura".

Хотя моя слива по настоящему является терносливой , она - "дочь сливы и тёрна"(что красот её не умаляет). Особенно меня впечатляют её тычинки, их порой на одном цветке до 20-25 штук.

Although my plum is truly thorny, she is the "daughter of a plum and a thorn" (which does not detract from her beauty). I am especially impressed by her stamens, sometimes there are up to 20-25 of them on one flower.

Напомню, что Ханами, праздник любования сакурой, имеет ещё один сакральный смысл (а может и не один):

А если кто хотел, но не успел присоединиться к этой японской традиции, то переживать не стоит. В японской культуре есть и другие ханами- ландыша, тюльпана, подсолнуха. Ландыши у меня только просыпаются, тюльпаны скоро зацветут, а вот подсолнухов ещё жать и ждать.
Так что Ханами надолго с нами).

My lilies of the valley are just waking up, the tulips will soon bloom, but the sunflowers are still harvesting and waiting. So Hanami is with us for a long time).
