Go to sleep! Mother instructed me,
But I paid her no heed,
For this game consumes me,
Forcing me to ignore everything else.

Go to sleep Tim! Mother railed,
Knowing it is a school night,
I reluctantly agreed,
So I let the controllers drop.

I laid on the bed thinking about my game,
How to defeat the final level boss,
A four-headed Hydra,
Who destroys everything in its path.

Grrrrrhhh!, I heard a loud sound,
I looked around me,
And found myself in an unknown territory,
It looked strange yet familiar.

“I have seen this place before”, I said aloud,
“ Where am I?”, I asked no one in particular,
Then I heard a loud noise,
It's the sound of a dragon.

Looking up, I saw her,
It's the dragon, zaphira from my game,
Her thunderous roars echoes, making the Earth vibrate,
Her fiery eyes shining so bright.

I was terrified by her roars,
But As I moved closer,
I saw a group of people gathered around,
With Zaphira standing amongst them.

They sang her praises,
For she had helped them defeat the enemy,
The monster who had terrorize their lands,
I stood in awe, watching it all.

Wake up Tim!
There goes Mother's voice again,
I opened my eyes to familiar surroundings,
Oh! It was all a dream.

I laid awake thinking about my dream,
And a smile suddenly broke out on my face,
Now, I know how to defeat the boss in my game,
Zaphira's strength is all I need.
