I see buildings with water in between them.

The Story

I haven't been to places like this, I have only seen them in movies, but one of my wishes in my "places to visit list" is to go on vacation in one of these places.

I have been to beaches and curiosity makes me want to explore more and visit places where I can cruise around in a boat.

Looking at this picture, I can't help but fantasize. I am taking a vacation after months of working and who better to go with than my better half?

We could visit Venice and see for ourselves the reason why it is called "The Floating City". We would find a place to Lodge on our first day, and the next day, we would get ready to go sightseeing, we could get a tour guide who would guide us around the city. I'm sure there would be little shops and eateries along the water where we would fill up our bellies with their special delicacies.

We would take pictures and wish our vacation never comes to an end, but come to think of it, I kinda envy people living in such places. I don't know if there might be some disadvantages to living in places like this but I'm sure the positive aspects outweigh the negative part by a bigger margin.

We would have loads of fun and when it's time to go home, I would be glad I've been able to visit one of the places on my wish-list and if I could, I would visit again.
