Weekend Food Trip with the Family: Trying Milk Tea for the First Time!

Bring home the pizza, with a bonus of milk tea. "Ohooo, why not? My oldies will be delighted when they see this for sure." This is what I'm thinking while choosing the flavor of pizza I want. Isn't that a perfect weekend happening? Food trip with simple snacks like pizza and milk tea to share with the family at home. simple food that can make us happy, fulfilled, and excited.

It is a gloomy Saturday, but that's also a perfect time for a walk and to visit the nearest pizza house to our home. Originally, I was only to get a box of pizza for our snack. Me and Mommy F contributed to the expense of that box of pizza, $1.76 each, from me and from her to buy it. I don't know, she just suddenly craved pizza today, and so I am. It's been a month since we last had it, so having it again this time is not bad. Pizza is love. Would you agree? Ehe.

I'm here, uwu. And yes, this is not just a pizza house because they also sell affordable meals here and even drinks like milk tea or coffee. This is where I buy cooked meals sometimes when I am too lazy to cook or when it is already late and there is no time to cook anymore. They are like an all-around one because they also sell chips, crackers, and even ice cream here. Such a good place to eat if you planned to eat out.

When I get there, they are busy preparing for this one box of pizza. Upon seeing that no one is waiting to get that pizza, I therefore conclude that they will deliver it somewhere - I mean, with just one box of pizza. And I was like, "If only I knew, I should've done this too, lol." And by the way, seeing the pizza makes me feel more hungry. And when I saw that this girl was already done with the preparation, that's when I added a new order, which is milk tea.

Eating Time!

It's a last-minute decision, and I made it just based on my "wants" rather than my needs. But it is just once in a blue moon, so I forgive myself and continue sipping on the milk tea. It's really not a wise decision to bring big bills with me, lol. But before I buy them, I check the price first, and for a small size, I think it is still okay. I got it for 19 PHP each, or $0.33, in a small size.

We all get the same flavor, which is the black forest. But just to make sure, I asked about their bestseller flavor too, but unfortunately, they all run out of ingredients for Okinawa and Taro. So I ended up with a black forest. For the taste, it tastes okay, but it's not a drink that I will drink again and again, maybe just once a year? Lol. I don't know, maybe because it's much cheaper than what others sell, this one tastes boring. Maybe I need to try the other shop first so that I have something that I can compare.

Anyhow, in the end, we all have a happy tummy. Do I look satisfied here? Lol. I can say that I am, thanks to the crunchy pizza. And I just remember this, I think it is the year 2021, when my brother went home to spend Christmas with us. He bought one milk tea, Okinawa flavor. I took a sip from it, and I remember liking it. It is much creamier and has more sweetness in it compared to what we have today. I think it really depends on the flavor and the shop too. But either way, what's important is that we enjoyed it.

Even my oldies love it too, hehe. This is actually their second time having milk tea. While it is my first, putting aside the sip I had before with my brother's drink, Because of this, I am also tempted now to try the milk tea shop beside our store. It is much closer to our place, but the price is much higher compared to this. But if it tastes good, then it is still a good buy. Let's see, maybe soon.
