Turning 30 Is Not a Big Deal!

Let me be honest with you guys, I really want my 30th birthday to be special. I want to do something new, something fun, and something that I never really did during my birthday. I really just want my birthday this time to be something that I will remember forever. I want to host a simple party with my family, where I will dress up, decorate our place, and just have fun on that special day. I want a cake. I want to experience blowing a candle once again. And I really, really want to dress up, then I'll hold a number balloons while I will also take a lot of photos with it and with my oldies.

This is how I want my birthday to look. Even just in my room, I'll just turn it into something cute or pretty. Then I will dress up, wear sandals or high heels, and maybe I will also go to a salon and let them take care of my hair. Like I will do something I never did before, just for the experience. And I really want to look pretty - or maybe just presentable —to look more human on my 30th birthday day, lolol. This is just a once in a lifetime experience, and I really want this day to be something I can look back on with a happy heart. Browsing on Facebook gave me this idea, and seeing those celebrants having this kind of celebration, I can't help but to envy them.

I really hate that I feel that way, because it can give me a lot of ridiculous ideas. Still, I know I'm free to do it, seeing how fun it would be not just for me but also my mother's urging me to really just do it. But, even though I want my birthday to be celebrated this way while wearing a beautiful dress and pretty heels, I know I would feel so awkward wearing it, especially since I don't like to wear dresses. I like dresses. That's why I love to play dress-up games, but I only enjoy it when it's the other people who wear it - I don't enjoy it when it's me who'll wear it. Lol. I still really prefer my black old shirt and my cargo pants.

And another thing, preparing all these will be a bit of a hassle. You know, in the past during my birthdays, I always planned to prepare a home-cooked meal for my family, but I always ended up getting pizza with ice cream, no special dish or whatsoever. It's not bad, and seriously, as a practical person as I am, this kind of celebration is cheaper but still meaningful and happier <(￣︶￣)>. I mean, it's our favorite food, a comfort food for us actually, so it's not bad and much preferable ＼(^o^)／. But I just thought my 30th birthday was kind of different from the other birthdays I had. That's why I want to make that day extra special ( ꈍᴗꈍ).

But I want it, but I don't want it at the same time. So, for tomorrow, my birthday, I'll just do what I usually do. It'd be just another normal day for me. I already had my birthday celebration anyway, in Xentro Mall with my Mama Ading and Mommy F last week, it's an early celebration that Mommy F planned. That day is one of my happy moments that I'll forever cherish because we had a lot of fun, we had a food trip and a good stroll inside the mall. I'm happy that I'm still alive, and I'm grateful too for the new life, especially now that I reach this age. I feel so blessed despite not achieving something huge, still, I am so so so happy.

That's already big enough for me. Thanks to my Mommy F for this wonderful treat, I had the best time ever last week ┏(＾0＾)┛. And Cheers to being 30 ┏(＾0＾)┛.

I know the way I dress up is really just "gahhh," but seriously, I don't really know how to mix and match clothes (≧▽≦). I'm stupid when it comes to that kind of thing. I am always the plain Jane, and it's just hard and expensive to be fashionable, so I drop "being a fashion artist" on my head. Lol (≧▽≦).
