The old stuff from our old house and the little memory I have of it
Too hot! I really want to soak myself in a tub full of ice and stay there for maybe an hour. The heat today is just too much. I feel like the sweat coming out of my body is being squeezed hard. I missed the cold weather I experienced last year. I may be complaining a tiny bit about how we can't dry our clothes at that time, but still, that's the best day, the best time, and the best weather for me. I want to experience it again!
Because of the unbelievable heat today, I decided to go outside to get some fresh air. If only I could put it in a bottle, I would bring that with me to my room. I feel like I was slowly being deep-fried in boiling oil because of how ridiculously hot today is! To be honest, staying outside is the best thing to do because it's a little windy. It's hot, yes, but the breeze outside is just enough to cool me down. But I can't stay outside for long.
Even Mama decided to come outside, and she is complaining that the wind the e-fan is producing is already hot. I told her to turn it off for a little while and give it a rest so that it could cool down too. And she did so, she decided to pick a fresh guava fruit from our guava tree. Look at her busy munching it. I asked her to do a little pose, but she just said, "I don't want to showcase my beauty to just anyone!" Hahahsha, and I was like, "Whatttt!" Lol. Little did she know ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ.
And because I'm already outside, I also decided to take a little snap of everything that I can see outside to share here. This simple scenery outside the house is just very calming, only if the sun is not shining too bright, it'll be more perfect. But either way, I still enjoy it, and my boredom just vanishes after this short walk outside. The heat is just too stressful, and I need a change of scenery where I can enjoy myself more.
This place is more peaceful because I am surrounded by green scenery. Seriously no? It's just awesome how this beauty here can attract fresh air that we can enjoy to our hearts' content. This is also the reason why I want to live in a secluded place where I can surround my house with lots of trees, plants, flowers, and anything else that I can put as a decoration in my surroundings. That's always been in my dreams, you know.
But anyway, I continue my short walk until I reach our old storage house. There's nothing much in there anymore, but I still visit there, and good thing I did. because I saw some old stuff from our old house in there just lying everywhere. After the old storage house here was wrecked by the typhoon before, Mother decided not to rebuild it because most of the things here cannot be used anymore, just like this old bike.
I think it is a customized one, it was repaired and repainted for my mommy, but sadly, she only used it for a short time, and since then it has just been lying here in the old storage house. I am really not fond of riding a bike, and neither is my other mother, so no one wants to take care of it. As for my mom, she just gave it up, and now this is what it looks like. Poor bike. But Mom wont let go of it.
Another is this. I remember this VHS tape because Mom had shelves of these in our room. It is actually a tape of her favorite songs. She also has that tape of when she was still doing her videography. She loves these collections of hers so much that it's sad that they look like this now.
It can't be saved anymore, and our TV with VHS player is broken now, so there's no use of these anymore. Ahhhh! Seeing all these made me remember the old times. It's fun to reminisce about it all, thanks to all of this!
And this Nintendo that I can't remember how to use. Mom had this when I was just a kid; I can't remember my exact age at that time, so I have no recollection of it. But I remember we used to play Super Mario before and other games that I can't remember now. Mom also loves to buy things that are in style, as long as she has money for them. I also remember those other things she had before, but I don't see them now. I think she's disposed of some of it already.
And then this, actually, I just included this because I saw it lying on the ground with lots of dirt on it. Look how old it is. It is one of the most important things in my mom's bakery. This was attached to a machine, and they use it to grate a coconut that will be used as a filling for bread. And we call that bread "Pande Coco." I missed eating my father's pande coco, huh? I love to eat it fresh from the oven. And I especially love it if they make it a little brown to make it more tastier.
Ahhhh! I had a great time on that short walk. Actually, after taking pictures, I ended up staying a little longer outside the house. I mean, who wouldn't enjoy a cold breeze while playing an old song? Lol.
Grabe yun walk down memory lane nitong post mo sis. Yun Nintendo talaga eh. Alam mo yun simple lang buhay natin before pero masaya talaga.
Ehehehe, thanks to those thing I get reminisce about the past UwY. Saya balikan ee.
A look back in our past. Oh I felt it with your article. The VHS collection, the old bike, and especially the original Nintendo. I remember the system well, unfortunately it shows my age because it wasn't my first gaming station, haha. Sad that it was your old home Ruffa, I hope the memories are stronger than any of the sadness. My childhood home was burned down recently on purpose by the new owner my mother sold it to. I write an article about it in a few months. Many pictures I don't have here I have to visit my mother to get.
Ehehehe, it'll be better if they are still working especially those VHS tapes, it will be just a collection if ever. Happy memories are stronger than any sadness, I cant help but to smile a lot while taking them all.
Ehhhh, its sad that it get burned down, they will be like all ashes now ರ_ರ
Yes new owner burnt down all out buildings as well except four stall garage. They built a new mansion style house. New owner was a son of a prestigious doctor back home. Living off of daddy
Hndi nyo ba tinatapon mga yan? 😅
Dipa madam, haha, ayaw pa ni Mommy. Hayaan nalang daw muna dun haha. Nakalagay yan actually sa malaking tub.
I guess you are talking about that humid heat that suffocates when you are indoors. In the city where my husband is from here in our country, the heat is usually like that and the fans end up blowing hot air.
But that gave you the excuse to go out for fresh air and you have some antiques there in your storage house that some collector might want like that old Nintendo. And the old bike occurs to me that it might look cool in the garden surrounded by flowers :)
Yes, yes, it is really too much. Its suffocating that you have no choice but to go outside ಥ‿ಥ
But yeah, hehe, Mom's collections are all cool if only it was not affected by the flood beforem
That walk was like a time machine. It brought you back to the past. It feels good to reminisce how things have contributed to the person you are now.
Ikr, good thing I comtinue my walk even after taking some shot in the backyard hehe
yayamanin may nintendo. ako na inggit na inggit sa pinsan ko na may playstation naglalaro sila ng Super Mario. hehe
