Mother Dear Harvested the "First" Fruit of Our Fruit Tree at the Wrong Time!

Having a fruit tree in your own yard is fun and exciting. It's like every season, you have something you can always look forward to. For example, during mango season, you'll get super excited as you can finally have the mango you have in your own yard. Isn't that fun, and every day, you are so eager for that day to finally arrive? Right? Righty? And I think that's what Mama feels, as she's also so excited to finally see her fruit tree in our backyard bearing fruits for the first time.

It was July when I shared about this particular tree in one of my article, bearing fruits for the first time after having it for a very long time in our yard. When Mama noticed it, she's really super excited. Then, at first, Mama said it was an orange tree, then later changed it into Sunkist. Those are the fruits she often gives Papa as per Papa's request too. And then every time, they will throw the seeds in our yard with the hope that someday they will grow and bear fruit.

And it's finally here. But Mama, my gosh! That's her picking up the first fruit of this tree. I told her and reminded her that it's bad time to harvest it, but Mama can be a pain in the neck at times. And this is one of "those days." Seriously! She's having a hard time picking it and had to use three different kinds of fruit pickers. I told her that it's a sign! You're having a hard time picking it because it's not the right time yet. Its too young and I bet it will take time before it ripe But Mama still did what she wanted, aigoooo.

And there she is, she was able to pick it up, and I can sense her excitement, but I want Mama to face the harsh reality that this fruit she picked is still young and can't be eaten yet. She hasn't realized it yet, but I know, this one has almost nothing on it's weight. It's really light, and I am ure that its pulp has no juices yet. But Mama is just so stubborn and won't listen to me. But Mama didn't realize it until she opened it. Seriously, she's just being denial, lol. Aigoooooo, (个_个).

And then she proceeded on peeling it. Look at that, right now I can't still say what kind of fruit it is. Is it a Valencia fruit? A Pomelo? But it's definitely not an orange and not a sunkist too, lol. What do you guys think?

Here it is, it is now much smaller. It's skin is kind of thick, well, that's typical for a pomelo, so maybe it is a pomelo. And I'm really right that it can't be eaten yet. Maybe it will be good as a juice, but you can't squeeze much juice out of it because it's dry. Is that because it is still a young fruit?

When I see the inside, all I can say to Mama is "I told you!" She's really at fault here because she is being so impatient ( ・ั﹏・ั). In the end, Mama threw it. Although she tried it too. She said it tastes good, but it's kind of hard to chew. She doesn't have many teeth, that is why. And I keep on repeating to her how bad she did this time around.

But I'm sure she already learned her lesson (。ŏ﹏ŏ). There's only one fruit left on the tree. And who knows how long it will take again to bear another or more fruits? Mama really deserves a whipping right now, do you think so too, guys (个_个)?

It's not the right time to harvest, which is why no juice comes out if you squeeze it.

That's really cool. Well, you will feel immense happiness for it. Own garden, own harvest, first fruit, raw taste. Happiness 💕

Yeah, it would be a full blast of happiness if mama didn't harvest it earlier 😆😆

It can go bigger if Mama didn't harvest it, huhu. Now we only have one left on the tree 😆

We call it Balinese orange, it tastes a little bland compared to regular oranges but if you eat it with the skin then there is a little bit of a spicy taste on the tongue.
