[LOH-128] My Kind of Dream Wedding During My Younger Years

I've seen a lot of marriage proposals and weddings on my news feeds a lot of times, and every time that I see it, I can't help but feel cringe. I don't hate marriage, okay, I just don't like it. Especially, I'm seeing those wedding photos from my former classmates from high school to college. I'm happy for them, of course, I even congratulate them, and it's sincere, it's just that marriage is really not for me And that's just how it is.

Just a week ago, I saw two of my high school classmates get married, and they looked happy with it. I even wonder if I'll be happy too if ever I decide to snatch some single guy there and propose or whatever. Because I really feel like I won't reach the level of happiness that they are feeling on their wedding days if it's me. I just feel like it. Maybe because I already marked it on my head that weddings are a no for me.

Anyhow, I haven't dreamed of any dream weddings in the past few years, so I will share with you the colorful dream weddings I had during my younger years. It is the time when I am still addicted to reading romance novels, and I always had this imagination where I used all of my favorite badass heroin as my leading man or the one who serves as the groom in those fantasies. Just bear with it, guys, because it is really kind of crazy and a little bit impossible.

Rooftop Wedding

I dreamed of having a secret agent man or hubby with a lot of important missions to take on. And that no matter how important the engagement is, if a mission arrives, he can't say no to it. So I thought of a rooftop wedding because my groom will arrive using a helicopter that just finished a mission and go directly to the venue, which is on the rooftop. And instead of a white gown, I will wear a black gown with a touch of gold to make it look like it is sparkling.

And instead of the bride who will arrive last at the wedding while the groom is waiting, it is my groom who will arrive last with a bouquet of black roses while walking into a black carpet while walking closely to where I am. I can imagine him in a black tuxedo while his gaze upon me is full of love. Ahhh, I can really do anything in my imagination; when I imagine it, there is no limit. I mean, it's a dream that I want to experience, so why not do the impossible? Lol.

As you can see, I really like black, so I really want a black theme wedding. Black and gold are a perfect combination for me, so we'll go with that. I am really not sure if black roses exist, but if not, we can just create one, and whatever the meaning of it, I will ignore it because I love black, so I will use it the way I want it. As for the reception, we will design it with petals scattered everywhere and a carpet made with rose petals; can you also imagine it? OMG!

And more importantly, I will serve Pilipino foods, which everyone will surely love. And that's it, after that it's honeymoon time, awiehhhhh └|∵|┐♪. A simple and meaningful dream wedding, full of love, is just how I want it to happen. It's a happy wedding day for sure. Remembering all of this now makes me want to actually experience it (≧▽≦).l
