It's Just a Normal Day, but this Black Forest Cake Made Our Day Extra Special Especially for Me: It's Chocolicious Sweet Treats!

I never thought I'd get one of my birthday wishes today. I can buy my own cake, but it hits differently when it's someone important to me who buys it for me. I feel more loved and cared for, especially on this special day. I can't help but think, "ah, I'm worth spending or I am worth gifting ( ꈍᴗꈍ)." Something like that, of course, it's not really all about just the cake but the thought and the effort. Seriously, my 30th birthday is the best birthday ever! This is that something new that I want during this kind of celebration, this is it. This is that moment. <(￣︶￣)>

It is supposed to be just a normal day. I wake up getting greetings from my oldies. Mommy F suggested to cook pancit, oops, not cooking it from scratch, but just a pancit canton, lol. As I've mentioned in my recent article, Pancit, or noodles, symbolizes long life here in the Philippines because, you know, it's strands are long. (≧▽≦)

So mother suggested cooking pancit canton, but I told her I don't feel like eating it in the morning. But Mom insisted that it was important, lol. So I just told her that I'd just buy cooked pancit outside. She agreed, and so I walked in there. It's just like morning exercise, I do this every day anyway, but I had to walk a little further to reach the restaurant. What a beautiful morning!

I also buy hot pandesal, which is really a good pair to Pancit on the way to the restaurant. We started our day with carbs, carbs and carbs, lol. This is where I bought our breakfast, Pancit. I'm so tempted to buy other dishes, especially when I see Lumpiang Shanghai, but I stop myself. Huhu. You know it's really a perfect food to eat during Birthday (ﾉﾟ0ﾟ)ﾉ→.

So this is my breakfast, two hot pandesal, pancit, and black coffee. Yep, this is my coffee now. I can now relate to that post on Facebook saying, "When you get old, you drink black coffee now without sugar." Lol. It's one yummy breakfast and heavy. I forgot to drink water before having breakfast, it's a good thing I didn't experience acid reflux.

Anyway, the moment of truth, Mommy F asked me if I wanted a cake. I told her no, I'm already happy with her advance birthday treat to me last week. I thought she agreed to what I said because she didn't say anything back. Then I was surprised when she called me. I was inside my room, she showed herself wearing a cap and then said, "Let's go, we'll buy a cake."

I was like: ＼(^o^)／, hahaha. I know I said I don't want it, but seriously, I'm just thinking about the expenses, lol. I was already asked for the second time, so who am I to say no? Should I really let this one happy moment get past me? Of course not. So off we go to a cake paradise ┏(＾0＾)┛.

Tadaaaaa! I chose the flavor I want, which is black forest flavor. Mother asked the person in charge to put a happy birthday greeting on the cake with my name, ehe. I'm so really happy! ( ꈍᴗꈍ)

It's a joyous moment that I'll remember forever, thanks to my mommy Flor. Wishes do come true, I tell yah! ┏(＾0＾)┛

I couldn't dress up, I couldn't blow a candle, there's no party balloons and yummy dishes to feast on, but still, even without those things, I super duper enjoy my day with my family. I didn't receive any greetings from an old friend and colleagues (to be honest, I don't greet anyone too because I'm really forgetful when it comes to dates, lol), but I have a family who did that for me, so I am super happy. I even got birthday greetings from my post yesterday here in Hive. Thank you, everyone. You really made my day extra special. Just the way I want it ┏(＾0＾)┛.
