I Never Thought I Would Enjoy "High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even In Another World" Anime on My Second Attempt of Watching It

20241111_144935_0000.png

This is not the first time I watch this anime, and to be honest, I only downloaded it on my phone before because I have excess data that I don't know where to use. And the title caught my attention too, not because I find the plot good or interesting. I remember watching it only until episode 6. And I deleted it after because I couldn't convince myself to finish or to like it.

Then last month, I couldn't find new anime to download, and I still have a lot of internet data, so I decided to download this anime again. You know, just to see if I will like it this time. I downloaded it without really expecting anything from it, lol.

I then started watching episode one, and surprisingly, I like it. And I'm still wondering why I didn't like it the first time. Like, what change? Why do I keep on looking forward to the next episode on this second attempt, but I never did during the first time?

But anyway, let's talk about this anime now. The title is: High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even In Another World. Yep, it is an Isekai, my favorite genre as of now. And from its long title, I'm sure you already have an idea about it.

This is about the seven genius high school students who're ridiculously good at their own craft. They are in a plane when suddenly an accident happens, and when they all wake up, they are already in another world -different from their own world, which is Japan. The new world is like a fantasy in a book where true magic exists.

Here's the list of the names of the seven prodigies and where they're good at:

  • Ohoshi Ringo: the world's top inventor
  • Ichijo Aoi: the world's top swordman
  • Kanzaki Keine: the world's top doctor
  • Sanadaa Masato: the world's top entrepreneur
  • Prince Akatsuki: the world's top magician
  • Sarutobi Shinobu: the world's top journalist
  • Mikogami Tsukasa: the world's top politician

The new world where they are transported is a medieval fantasy world, so there's a lot that they haven't discovered yet. They were rescued by a "Byuma," as refered to those with tails and animals ears. It is actually a small village of a Byuma. Ah, they also have dragons, but the seven prodigies are not even surprised about that. They are so easy to adapt to in their new world. Well, that's really how most isekai animes are, right?

And this is the start of one fun life in another world. They made it look like it was not easy, but I feel like they create solutions to every problem. As a sign of gratitude, the seven prodigies used their skills and talents to help those who had helped them. This is actually what excites me the most. Knowing that the seven prodigies will introduce new things to this world.

But as I watch more episodes, I feel like it's getting more ridiculous, like how everything is so easy for them to develop this and that. Imagine a missile being developed in a medieval world. I feel like no matter how knowledgeable a person is, it won't be that easy. But then, even though I find it really ridiculous, it still excites me. And that pushed me to finish it.

There's actually a lot that happened, they also built a lot, introduced some products, and even saved a lot of people. Each of them is really useful, their skills have resulted in a positive outcome. Their knowledge and skills bear a lot of fruit too. And this is what made me stay, and I was able to finish it.

Have you already watched this anime? What can you say about it? If I will rate it, I will give it 6.9 out of 10. Would I recommend it? I would if you enjoyed this kind of genre.

Isekai is a genre that catches my attention. I love that these characters have been transported to a medieval time.
I think I'm going to watch this anime, thanks for the review.

I have watched some anime with my kids and I liked them: Naruto, Boruto, Kimetsu No Jaiba.... I would never have watched them if it wasn't for them and I can say that I really enjoyed them, although it's something totally different from what I'm used to watching and that's maybe the most interesting thing.
I haven't seen the one you mention in this review, it's quite curious that you would have started it and found it disposable and then it did catch your attention... That's how we humans are, unpredictable.
Regards.

That's nice, watching it is also like a great bonding between you and your kids. And the two anime series you mention is good too. I already stopped watching Boruto though. Hearing it grom you, I'm curious now what's happening on that anime.

Seriously, I can't still explain why I don't like it the first time 🙉⁉️

I haven't finished watching Boruto either, I think I'm afraid that something bad will happen to Naruto and I'm reluctant to let that happen. but sooner or later I'll have to finish it because I also want to know what happens.

It is indeed curious, trying to watch an anime a second time after a failed attempt, I think I'll have to do the same with some I've abandoned to see if they catch my attention.

6.9 seems like a pretty decent score. Thanks for sharing with the community!

Yo lo vi, recordé de este por los personajes y si, me pareció ridículo el como lo creaban todo fácilmente, aun así para pasar el rato, me resultó entretenido, aunque es ese tipo de anime que no repetiría 2 veces. 😅. Excelente reseña

I watched it, I remembered this one because of the characters and yes, I found it ridiculous how they created everything easily, even so to pass the time, I found it entertaining, although it's that kind of anime that I wouldn't repeat 2 times. 😅. Excellent review

It's also happened to me that I watched an anime and didn't like it until the second time I tried to watch it. I think the emotional situation we are in has a lot to do with it. For example, if it's a romance or comedy anime, it all depends on the mood in which one watches it. However, I personally don't like isekai that much, but it sounds interesting. A hug 🤗

I can agree to this, I also noticed that I'm in a good mood when I watch it. And I come to appreciate more the isekai genre that is why. Hehe
