Giant Taro Leaves in the Backyard and A Rare View of Kids Climbing and Playing on a Tree

A sore throat and menstrual cramps are seriously not a good combination, unfortunately, I have both ಥ‿ಥ. And I feel so weak and so lazy. I just want to do nothing today ಥ‿ಥ. But as much as I love the warmth of my bed, I forced myself to move because "laziness for a day is just a rest, but laziness every day is stupidity." That's what I thought, hihi. ╮(＾▽＾)╭

And so, when Mama visited the market, I decided to accompany her, even though I didn't need to buy anything in the market today. Like you know, it's also my way of entertaining myself in this crazy weather, so I can forget this pain I'm feeling right now. Although it's still tiring because, as you can see, the weather is really burning, I forced myself to do it.

Then in the afternoon, I decided to take a walk in our backyard while enjoying the fresh air. I really love this part of our home, you know, the backyard. Aside from the amazing scenery here, it's also the breeze that's pulling me to hang out here. And of course, this place doesn't show the same thing, because there's a life in here, expect that a new plants or flowers will appear.

And even though there's a crazy puppy staying here who's jumping up on me with his dirty paws and body, I chose to hang out here. Look how dirty Uno is right now because of him digging around dirt ಥ‿ಥ. He's really not paying attention to the world, it's annoying, but at the same time, it's cute, lolol. Mama is also complaining, but that's what it is when you have little pups in the house, lol. (●´⌓`●)

By the way, these taro leaves are really noticeable now. Look how tall they have become. I'm not sure if the old couple will harvest them later, but they look really good to harvest now. Or is it ಥ_ಥ? I suddenly crave for "Ginataang Gabi." This dish is really, really good, it is this taro leaf, and its roots are the ingredients. Then it has coconut milk too. It'll be perfect if we make it a little spicy. My, my, I'm really craving it right now (≧▽≦).

And look how massive these leaves are! Like, it's abnormally huge. It's like a small umbrella for kids, lol. Have you ever tried taro leaves as a cover, like an umbrella? Y'all know that it can't be wet that easily, no? Hehe. It's really a perfect one as an umbrella. Lol.

Anyway, I have some good news, guys, we have new papaya growing in this part. Actually, it is already bearing fruit, despite its size. The oldies are so excited about that. I'm happy about it too, but I really don't like papaya fruit. Sorry, haha. (≧▽≦) How about you? The other day, Mommy D cook a chicken curry with unripe Papaya, I only ate the chicken though, lol.

In the middle of my "having a good time" moment, I spotted these two kids on the other side of this small stream. I am not sure where they came from or who they are, but it is really good to see kids playing like this and not holding gadgets. This is also our kind of playtime before, no? It just changes with the existence of gadgets. I hope more kids will choose to play other games and will not just focus on their gadgets. And look how cute they are hanging on the branch of the tree, haha. I'm sure this is a precious moment for them ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ.

Despite the pain I'm experiencing right now, I still enjoy this day, and that's because I chose to enjoy it and didn't just bum around. I think staying in my room will just worsen my feelings, so I say it's a good thing I chose to hang out outside ＼(^o^)／.
