YouTube Develops AI Tool That Allows Creators to Use Artists' Voices | Rising Star Giveaway - Reward 10000 (+5000) Starbits (Ends 25 October UTC)

YouTube has developed an AI (Artificial Intelligence) tool that will allow creators on its platform to use the voices of famous artists, but it is said that it needs to make deals with record companies before it can launch the beta version.

YouTube is in talks with leading record labels such as Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment and Warner Music Group to launch a beta version of its new AI Tool. The beta version of YouTube's new AI tool is ready and will be released if an agreement is reached with the record companies.

The main issues in the negotiations between record companies and YouTube are about how to train the AI model and ensure that artists have the option to opt in or out, and how monetization works. In fact, there are also concerns about how monetization works, and whether artists are paid for the use of their music as input to the artificial intelligence model or for the output created using the tool. It is said that agreements can be made when there is agreement on these issues.

YouTube's Content ID system, which identifies and monetizes copyrighted material, works very well, so record companies are open to the deal. But they want to make a more detailed agreement because they think this agreement will set a precedent for future AI agreements, which is why the agreements are said to be taking longer than expected.

Youtube's new AI tool is somewhat similar to the logic of the AI-Powered App Hook, which will be released next month, which I mentioned in my post a few days ago. Frankly, I'm very curious about both of them.

I am not an artist, but I love creating things related to music, so I believe such apps can help me. But I would love for them to help not only me but also the artists. I hope they can be beneficial to the music world.
