Hello everyone, I hope everything is going well in your life. Welcome to my Battle Mage Secrets post. In this post, I will talk about the Stampede Ruleset.

Stampede Ruleset

In battles with the Stampede Ruleset, Trample will retrigger infinitely as long as the trampling unit keeps killing other units.

When a Monster with the Trample Ability hits and kills its target with a Melee attack, it will perform another Melee attack on the next Unit on the enemy Team, and as long as it keeps killing other Monsters, the Stampede Ruleset allows it to attack again indefinitely. Therefore, Monsters with Trample Ability can be very effective in battles with the Stampede ruleset, so I attach great importance to adding Monsters with Trample Ability to my team in battles with this ruleset.

Possibilus the Wise is a Water Summoner who gives Trample Ability, Reach Ability and +2 health to all friendly Monsters, so having Possibilus the Wise card can be a great advantage in battles with the Stampede ruleset. After adding Possibilus the Wise card to my deck, the Stampede ruleset became one of my favorite rulesets, and I can say that I was able to win many battles when I was able to choose Possibilus the Wise as a Summoner in this ruleset.

Meanwhile, the Trample ability is triggered based on the sequential order of the opponent's Monster positions. And Trample only works for Monsters with the melee attack type, and only works forward and not backward. Even if the next Monster has the Camouflage Ability, Trample continues to work normally, meaning that after defeating an opposing Monster, it will target the next Monster even if it has the Camouflage Ability.

I will talk about a battle in Brawl that I think would be a good example of the Stampede ruleset, but I will leave 2 more battle links below and I recommend you watch them if you have time.

Battle Ruleset

  • Up to Eleven: All Monsters have the Amplify ability.
  • Stampede: The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed.

MY STRATEGY & LINE UP

According to the ruleset of the battle, all Monsters in this battle will have the Amplify Ability, and the Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed.

First of all, since the battle has the Stampede Ruleset, I chose Possibilus the Wise as the Summoner without hesitation. And I added Isgald Vorst to my team because I believe it could be very effective in this battle. I also included the Rust Ability in my lineup to reduce the armor of all monsters on the opposing team by 2 so that Isgald Vorst can destroy the targets more easily. I had no doubt that Isgald Vorst could be very effective in this battle if it got the chance.

The continuation of the strategy and my lineup is as follows;

LINE UP

Summoner : Possibilus the Wise

Possibilus the Wise is a Water Summoner who gives Trample Ability, Reach Ability and +2 health to all friendly Monsters. As I mentioned above, Summoner Possibilus the Wise is the prime use case for battles with the Stampede Ruleset, so I chose it as the Summoner without hesitation.

Position 1 : Noa the Just

Noa the Just is a Water Monster with no attack power and the Rust Ability from level 1. Although Noa the Just does not have any attack power, I added it to my team because it has the Rust Ability and I believed that Isgald Vorst could be very effective in this battle if the Monsters on the opposing team were unarmored. And since it has 6 speed, 5 armor, and 6 health, I put it in the first position.

  • Rust Ability : Reduces the Armor of all enemy Units by 2.

Position 2 : Hardy Stonefish

Hardy Stonefish is a Water Monster that can attack the target with a Melee Attack. Honestly since it only costs 1 mana I added it to my team and since it has 1 armor I put it in the second position.

Position 3 : Isgald Vorst

Isgald Vorst is a Water Gladiator who can attack targets with Melee attacks and has the Opportunity Ability and the Bloodlust Ability from level 1. I could guess that Isgald Vorst would be very effective in this war, especially when it starts killing enemies, it might not be easy to stop it. And I put it in the third position to keep it away from the enemies' first attacks.

  • Opportunity Ability : Units with the Opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy Unit with the lowest health.
  • Bloodlust Ability : This Unit revels in the glory of combat and becomes more dangerous as the battle goes on. Every time it defeats an opponent, it gets +1 to all stats.

Position 4 : Torrent Fiend

Torrent Fiend is a Water Monster that can attack the target with a Melee Attack. I would like to point out that I added it to my team because it costs 0 mana. Torrent Fiend only has 1 health and was the Monster with the lowest health on my team so I put it in the last position because I took into account that the opposing player might have a similar strategy to me. It was also a good option to stall Opportunity and Sneak Monsters.

BATTLE COMMENTS

You can watch the entire battle from the video or from the Battle Link

Round 1

Isgald Vorst showed a great performance in the first round and destroyed 5 Monsters from the opposing team with its first attack, which also means it got +1 to all its stats 5 times.

This is exactly why I place great importance on choosing Possibilus the Wise as my summoner in battles with the Stampede Ruleset.

Isgold Vorst's stats after destroying the opponents:

Round 2

The opposing team only had Cruel Arthropod left, and in the second round it was destroyed and my team was able to win the battle.

The battle only lasted 2 rounds and at the end of the battle all the monsters on the opposing team were destroyed while all the monsters on my team were still alive. My strategy in the battle worked pretty well and my team won the battle pretty easily. This battle was a good example of how effective Monsters with the Trample Ability can be in battles with the Stampede ruleset. Having a summoner card like Possibilus the Wise is a really big advantage in battles with the Stampede ruleset, and this battle was one of the best examples of that. Also, the opponent's lineup allowed my strategy to work much better, so I recommend not using the Monsters with the lowest health in the front positions in these types of battles.

Possibilus + Isgald in a short mana game, simply sublime. The evolution of this splinter has been interesting, going from being exclusively for use with magic units to a splinter with solid melee and ranged units. Congratulations on the victory. Best regards.
