Let's talk about CURSED WINDEKU this week for the Share Your Battle Weekly Challenge. Cursed Windeku is one of the powerful Monsters that attacks the target with Melee Attacks and can be very effective in battles. Besides attacking with Melee Attack, it can be very effective against Melee Monsters especially since it has Thorns Ability.

• Thorns Ability : When hit with a Melee attack, does damage back to the attacker.

Indeed, does back damage to Melee Monsters after each attack can be incredibly effective in battles. (I'll give an example of this below). If I feel that the opposing player will prefer Melee Attack Monsters, I would never hesitate to add Cursed Windeku to my team if I has the opportunity, and I usually put it in the first position. Because Cursed Windeku doesn't attack when it's in the backline. But according to my strategy, I can sometimes put it in the last position, thanks to Cursed Windeku, the Melee Sneak Monsters on the opposing team take damage back, which helps my strategy a lot. I would also like to point out that when Cursed Windeku is used with a good strategy, it is much more effective in battles.

• Sneak Ability : Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster.

Also, since Cursed Windeku has the Thorns Ability, I never hesitate to add a monster with the Amplify Ability to my team if I get the opportunity. Because when Thorns Ability and Amplify Ability are used together, dealing back damage becomes too brutal for enemy Melee Attack Monsters. (I'll give an example of this below)

• Amplify Ability : Increases Magic Reflect, Return Fire, and Thorns damage to all enemy monsters by 1.

Cursed Windeku are nightmarish creatures that live in the deepest and darkest woods. They hunt at night, stalking their prey before attacking with their claws, while their thorn-like horns and natural healing ability provide an excellent defense,. They exude a pungent pheromone that reduces the reaction time of their victims, often allowing the Windeku to begin devouring them before they are dead. While these lifeless creatures may appear animalistic, they are highly intelligent. They have heeded the call put forth by the Lord of Darkness. Their thirst for blood is now focused on the Chaos Legion.

CURSED WINDEKU has the Thorns Ability at level 1, the Heal Ability at level 5 and the Slow Ability at level 8.

• Thorns Ability : When hit with a Melee attack, does damage back to the attacker.
• Heal Ability : Restores a portion of the Monster's health each round.
• Slow Ability : Reduces the Speed of all enemy Monsters.

These abilities are really powerful abilities and abilities that can be very effective in battles. Cursed Windeku gains Heal Ability, especially when upgraded to level 5, which will make it harder to destroy it in battles and will be much more effective when it survives in battles longer. I think Cursed Windeku is one of those powerful and useful Monsters that any team could need.

Cursed Windeku is a Rare Monster in the Death Unit that belongs to the Chaos Legion edition. Cursed Windeku costs 6 mana and has 2 Melee Attack, 3 speed, 9 health at level 1. As the card is upgraded, its stats also increase. You can see it from the picture above. Although it costs 6 mana, having 9 health is an advantage in my opinion, but it cannot evade many attacks, which is a big disadvantage. But since it has Thorns Ability, I can ignore this disadvantage, but when used with a good strategy, it can be much more useful to the team. Also, if I have the opportunity, I add a monster with the Taunt Ability to my team, this will ensure Cursed Windeku is not targeted by monsters on the opposing team's backline. I also believe that when I upgrade this card to level 5, I can create much better strategies with it.

CURSED WINDEKU, An RARE NFT Card, is currently starting at $0.38 on the market. The Gold CURSED WINDEKU NFT card is currently starting at $3.17 on the market. In addition, it is possible to rent the Regular one for about 0.14 DEC and the Gold one for about 1.33 DEC per day. These prices are valid for level 1 (The gold one starts from level 2), prices may increase as the level rises. Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) is currently trading at $0.000548.

Honestly, considering the abilities of this card, I can say that I am surprised that the prices are quite affordable because when I looked a few months ago, its price was much higher. Currently my Gold CURSED WINDEKU NFT card is at level 2 and if i can buy 6 more copies, I can upgrade it to level 5, so it will be much more useful to the team. And I would love to upgrade to level 8 in the future.

Before Starting the Battle

According to the ruleset of the battle, we would only be able to use Death Element Monsters in this battle. And before I started the battle, when I reviewed the last 5 battles of the opposing player, the level 5 ZINTAR MORTALIS caught my attention and I could predict that I would fight the level 5 ZINTAR MORTALIS in this battle. Because of this, I needed to strategize better, and in order to win this battle, it was especially important to does damage back Melee Monsters on the opposing team.

My Strategy

ZINTAR MORTALIS reduces the Melee Attack of all enemy Melee Attack Monsters by -1. So using only Melee Attack Monsters in this battle would be a huge downside for my team. I chose THADDIUS BROOD as Summoner in this battle, THADDIUS BROOD reduces the Magic Attack of all enemy Magic Attack Monsters by -1 and reduces the health of all enemy monsters by -1.

I put CURSED WINDEKU with Thorns Ability in first position on my team, my primary goal was to destroy the first and second position monster on the opposing team. I knew that CURSED WINDEKU would help me achieve this goal.

I put HARKLAW with Shield Ability in second position on my team, I thought HARKLAW would defend the front line well after CURSED WINDEKU was destroyed. I also added DJINN MUIRAT to my team especially since he has the Void Armor Ability and put him in the third position. Also, DJINN MUIRAT attacks the target with Magic Attacks. Also, since I thought the opposing team's summoner would be ZINTAR MORTALIS, I specifically preferred Magic Attack Monsters and Ranged Attack Monsters in this battle.

And having the monster with Amplify Ability along with Thorns Ability in a battle like this would be very brutal for the opposing team so I added CABALIST with Amplify Ability to my team, I put him in fourth position as he only has 5 health because he should stay away from the opposing team's first attacks and According to my strategy, it should not have been destroyed prematurely. Especially when CURSED WINDEKU was alive, the destruction of CABALIST would have disrupted my entire strategy. And I added DHAMPIR STALKER with True Strike Ability to my team and put him in fifth position. DHAMPIR STALKER is a monster that can be very effective in battles, as his attacks cannot miss. I put NIGHT GHOUL with the Taunt Ability in the last position on my team. NIGHT GHOUL has 4 armor and 10 health and does a great job of stalling monsters on the opposing team.

• Thorns Ability : When hit with a Melee attack, does damage back to the attacker.
• Shield Ability : Reduced damage from Melee and Ranged attacks.
• Void Armor Ability : Magic attacks hit this Monster's armor before its Health.
• Amplify Ability : Increases Magic Reflect, Return Fire, and Thorns damage to all enemy monsters by 1.
• True Strike Ability : This Monster's attacks cannot miss.
• Taunt Ability : All enemy Monsters target this Monster (if they are able to).

Battle Comments

Round 1

Having monsters with Amplify Ability and Thorns Ability in my team had turned the entire strategy of the opposing player upside down. In the first round, the opposing team took very serious damage, especially the back damages was very brutal.

It was quite remarkable that Melee Monsters on the opposing team took back more damage than they did to CURSED WINDEKU. This made it much easier to destroy Melee Attack Monsters on the opposing team.

Round 2

The monsters on the opposing team lost their hope of winning when they took very serious damage in the first round. And it continues to be brutal for them in the second round. And in the second round, 3 more Melee Monsters were destroyed on the opposing team.

Round 3

It was quite remarkable that in the third round, CURSED WINDEKU was still alive and only 2 monsters remained on the opposing team. Frankly, the opposing team had nothing left to do but lose.

Battle Results

The battle only lasted 3 rounds, in this battle my strategy worked quite well and my team won the battle quite easily. To be honest, I didn't expect it to be this easy. In this battle in particular, the Amplify Ability and Thorns Ability worked quite well together, and indeed such a strategy can be quite brutal for opponents. I hope you enjoyed this battle. My opinion

CURSED WINDEKU is a really powerful Monster and can be very effective in battles when used with good strategy. We saw that in the battle above. CURSED WINDEKU can miss some attacks and can't escape many attacks. This can turn into a huge disadvantage in some battles, so it is very important to use it with a good strategy. It will also be much more useful to my team when it has the Heal Ability. For example, if it had Heal Ability in the above battle, it could survive until the end of the battle. That's why I'm thinking of upgrading this card to level 5 as soon as possible. But just upgrading this card won't be enough, I will also need to level up my summoner.
