My Goals for the Upcoming New Year And My Favorite Summoner and Epic Battle of 2014 | Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge
Hello everyone, Welcome to my Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge post. I hope everything is going well in your life and you are having a wonderful day.
Time really flies and another year is almost over, 2014 was a good year for me and I hope 2025 will be even better for all of us.
Splinterlands is a truly amazing game, honestly it's more than a game to me, I feel very lucky to be a part of this amazing community. I really enjoy playing Splinterlands and I've made some great friends here, it's almost like home to me. In 2024, I made my team more powerfdul, increased my SPS in Stake, and made great friends and I will do my best to do more in 2025.
First of all, my goal for 2025 will be to make my team even more powerful. I will be leveling up my Legendary cards to at least level 3, my Epic cards to at least level 5, my Rare cards to at least level 6, and my Common cards to at least level 8. In particular, I will be focusing more on purchasing all of the Rebellion and Chaos Legion cards that are not in my deck. I believe that I am a pretty good player in Splinterlands, but it is really hard to win against players who have more powerful decks in terms of Rebellion and Chaos Legion cards, but I have no doubt that my win rate will increase significantly when I strengthen my team a little more, so my primary goal is to make my team even more powerful in 2025.
I currently have 48,105 SPS in Stake, my goal for 2025 is to hit 100,000 SPS. My SPS target for 2024 is 50,000 SPS and I have no doubt that I will achieve it next week. SPS is currently trading at $0.008, frankly I am very optimistic about SPS and believe it will gain value in the future, and if it stays below $0.01 I can double my goal in 2025, that is, I can even hit 200,000 SPS. In 2024, I staked all my SPS that I got from ranked battles, tournaments and staking rewards, and I also bought SPS from the market and staked them, I will continue the same strategy in 2025 but I will do more. As my SPS in Stake increases, the rewards I receive from ranked battles also increase, so I attach great importance to staking SPS.
I really enjoy playing Splinterlands, I enter in both ranked battles, tournaments and Brawl, I wish I had the chance to play more. It's a really fun game, it's also a really great community and I've made a lot of new friends here and I'm sure I'll connect with more players in 2025. We really are like a family here. We have fun, meet new people and earn money, as I said above, it's more than a game for me.
My favorite summoner in 2024 is Possibilus the Wise, he is a truly amazing summoner. He makes Units with melee attacks incredibly effective in battles, especially in battles with the Stampede ruleset, he is really hard to fight against. And if the enemies are unarmored, they suffer defeat very mercilessly.
Possibilus the Wise grants Trample Ability, Reach Ability, and +2 health to all friendly units and costs 6 mana.
- Trample Ability : After using a melee attack to defeat a unit, performs another melee attack against the unit in the next position. (Ranged and Magic attacks do not Trample)
- Reach Ability : Can use melee attacks from the second position. (All friendly Units receive the Reach ability at the start of the battle, which affects only Melee attacks (since Ranged and Magic attacks can already be used from the second position))
Trample is an ability that can be incredibly effective when combined with Stampede, as we will see in the battle below.
Battle Link
- Stampede: Trample (after using a melee attack to defeat a unit, performs another melee attack against the unit in the next position) can trigger multiple times if the trampled unit is destroyed.
- Lost Legendaries: You cannot summon legendary units.
- Close Range: All units have Close Range (can use ranged attacks from the first position).
In battles with the Stampede ruleset, I choose Possibilus the Wise as my summoner without hesitation because it really makes units with melee attacks incredibly effective. When using the Double Strike Ability in the second position, I always include the Opportunity Ability in my lineup because both abilities can be very effective together with Possibilus the Wise. That's what I did in this battle too, I also included Triage Ability in my lineup while putting Taunt Ability in the last position, they can be quite useful to stall enemies.
Since the enemies have higher speed, they made the first attacks, which is exactly why I include Taunt Ability in my lineup in such battles, and all the enemies in the backline targeted Wave Brood but could not destroy it. Afterwards, they were helpless against my team's brutal attacks and were destroyed one by one.
Even though the opposing team was much more powerful, they were helpless against my team, and most interestingly, they could not destroy anyone from my team. The battle lasted only 3 rounds and my team achieved a pretty easy victory against a pretty powerful team. This is why Possibilus the Wise has become my favorite summoner card in 2024 and will be the first summoner card I level up to level 3 in 2025. I recommend watching the battle so you can see how Possibilus the Wise makes Units with melee attacks more effective.
If you have any questions about abilities, rulesets, the battle above, and Splinterlands, please feel free to ask and I'll be happy to answer them.
I can say that 2024 was a good year for me, I hope 2025 will be a great and profitable year for all of us. I sincerely wish you all the best of luck and a wonderful year. If you haven't yet joined the fascinating world of Splinterlands, I think you're missing out and I highly recommend you consider joining Splinterlands.
