"Landslide" is a song by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on July 11, 1975. The song was written and performed by Stevie Nicks. "Landslide" first featured on Fleetwood Mac's self-titled album, Fleetwood Mac. The original recording was also included on the compilation albums 25 Years – The Chain (1992), The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac (2002) and 50 Years – Don't Stop (2018). Before joining the band Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks was working as both a waitress and a cleaning lady while struggling to find success as a singer and songwriter. Even though she was only 27 years old, she was discouraged and starting to become burned out due to her current situation. Stevie Nicks said in an interview that she wrote "Landslide" during a visit to Aspen, Colorado, while "looking out at the Rocky Mountains pondering the avalanche of everything that had come crashing down on us. And "at that moment, my life truly felt like a landslide in many ways" she said.

"Landslide" is a stunning reflection on aging. Can a person feel old at 27? Sometimes it is really difficult to deal with the difficulties of life and cope with the problems and one can feel old, I have experienced such periods many times, too. The important thing is to eventually find the way out and overcome the problems. The fact that Stevie Nicks wrote "Landslide" at the age of 27 is amazing. Even though it was released almost half a century ago, I still listen to this song, and I think "Landslide" is one of the best songs of all time.
