LG Electronics will unveil its smart home AI agent at CES 2024 this month and reveal more details about its capabilities. There's been a huge boom of AI apps, robots, and the like lately, and it's clear we'll be seeing more in the future. But the smart home AI agent offers unique experiences. The first thing that caught my attention is; When the owner returns home, it greets them at the door and can play music or other content to suit their mood. This is really interesting and I wonder how it would do this. As stated in the article, the AI agent has a built-in camera, speaker and various sensors to collect real-time data, and it is stated that it can assist in many tasks with the help of these. It will also interact with users verbally and express emotions through movements. It can also assist with a multitude of tasks, including collecting data on temperature and indoor air quality, and even acting as a security guard. Most interestingly, the AI agent greets the owner when they arrive home and evaluates their emotions by analyzing their voice and facial expressions. I can't wait to test this AI agent.

It is certain that Artificial Intelligence will enter our lives more in the future, but it is difficult to know for now whether it will benefit or harm people more, but I do not like the idea of closed source systems collecting data. I can say that this is the most important part that makes me nervous, I can use open source artificial intelligence apps at home without hesitation.
