The lyrics on the album are based on themes such as Kanye West's celebrity status, consumer culture, self-aggrandizement, and the idealism of the American Dream. "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" achieved significant success both commercially and critically, ranking high on many lists and was included in the year-end list of 2010 as the best album of 2010. The album, which was awarded the Best Rap Album award at the 54th Grammy Awards, was also awarded the CD of the Year award at the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards. Additionally, the album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, and also topped the Canadian Albums Chart. It also ranked in the top 10 in other countries. It was certified triple platinum in the United States by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). To be honest, I'm not a fan of Kanye West, but I've always appreciated good work, and I love listening to any music that sounds good to my ears. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album has great songs such as "Runaway", "Power", "All of the Lights" and "Monster". Undoubtedly, I think the best song on the album is Runaway, and it is one of my favorite songs on this album.

"Runaway" is a nine-minute song and can be said to be the most whacked outsong on the album. Built around a haunting piano note, "Runaway" is one of Kanye West's best works, in fact, in my opinion, his best work.
