In battles with the Aimless Ruleset, all monsters have the Scattershot Ability. Meanwhile, Monsters with Scattershot Ability can target Monsters with the Camouflage Ability.

• Scattershot Ability : Ranged and Magic attacks hit a random enemy target.
• Camouflage Ability : This Unit cannot be directly targeted for attacks unless it's in the first position.

As stated in the brief description of the Scattershot Ability, this ability does not affect Melee Attacks, that is, Ranged and Magic attacks hit a random enemy target. Frankly, I don't like random attacks because while random attacks sometimes work very well for my team, sometimes they can be annoying. I mean, if all the monsters on the battlefield are Ranged or Magic Attack Monsters, winning the battle depends on luck, so if the power of both teams is the same, whoever is lucky wins the battle. I will give an example of this by sharing a different battle link at the bottom.

But I would like to say that I love monsters with both Scattershot Ability and Blast Ability very much, because they can be very effective in battles, so if I have the opportunity in battles with the Aimless Ruleset, I add Ranged and Magic Attack Monsters with Blast Ability to my team without hesitation. These are my personal thoughts, if you have a different opinion or want to add something, I would be very happy if you say them in the comments.

• Blast Ability : Does half damage (rounded up) to Units adjacent to the target Unit.

I will share one of my most interesting battles with the Aimless Ruleset, I hope you like it.

• Aimless: All Monsters have the Scattershot ability.
• Fire & Regret: All Monsters have the Return Fire ability.
• Counterspell: All Monsters have the Magic Reflect ability.

MY STRATEGY

Before starting the battle, when I reviewed the recent 5 battles of the opponent player, I saw that the opponent player's deck was more powerful than my deck. And I knew that in this battle I would be fighting a level 3 legendary or a level 6 rare Summoner, so I needed a better strategy to win this battle.

First of all, I will choose Helios Matriarch as the Summoner because I belive increasing the speed of all monsters in my team by +1 will give my team an advantage in this battle and I want to use a Gladiator card.

In the first position, I will put Djinn Chwala with Thorns Ability, and according to the battle rulesets, all monsters in this battle will have Return Fire Ability and Magic Reflect Ability, which means all monsters from the opposing team that hit the first position will take back damage.

In the second position, I will put Thane Newsong with the Inspire Ability. In this battle, I will use melee attack monsters, and thanks to the Inspire Ability, they will be able to attack their targets more powerfully.

In the third position, I will put Katrelba Gobson, who has the Abilities Bloodlust, Sneak, Double Strike and Snare. I thought Katrelba Gobson would be very effective in this battle, so I put her in the third position so that she would not be the first target of enemy monsters.

In the fourth position, I will put Queen Mycelia with the Protect Ability. I believed that having all monsters on my team with +2 armor would give my team an advantage in battle.

In the fifth position, I will put Dhampir Infiltrator, which has Sneak Ability and Double Strike Ability. My primary goal in this battle was to destroy the opposing team with Sneak Monsters. I believed that especially those with the Double Strike Ability would be very effective in this battle.

In the last position, I will put Uraeus with the Sneak Ability.

I would like to say that I adjusted my team's lineup according to the abilities and health of the monsters.

LINE UP

Summoner : HELIOS MATRIARCH

Helios Matriarch is a Dragon Summoner that gives +1 Speed to all friendly Monsters and allows the use of one additional Gladiator card in battle.

Position 1: DJINN CHWALA

Djinn Chwala is a Dragon that can attack the target with Melee Attacks and has Thorns Ability from level 1. I put Djinn Chwala in the first position.

• Thorns Ability : When hit with a Melee attack, does 2 Melee damage back to the attacker.

Position 2: THANE NEWSONG

Thane Newsong is a Earth Monster with no attack power and has Inspire Ability and Strengthen Ability at level 3. And I put Thane Newsong in the second position.

• Inspire Ability : Gives all friendly Units +1 Melee attack.
• Strengthen Ability : All friendly Units have their Health increased by 1.

Position 3: KATRELBA GOBSON

Katrelba Gobson is a Earth Gladiator that can attack the target with Melee Attacks and has the Bloodlust Ability, Sneak Ability, Double Strike Ability and Snare Ability at level 5. And I put Katrelba Gobson in the third position.

• Bloodlust Ability : This Monster revels in the glory of combat and becomes more dangerous as the battle goes on. Every time it defeats an opponent, it gets +1 to all stats.
• Sneak Ability : Targets the last Unit on the enemy Team instead of the first Unit.
• Double Strike Ability : This unit attacks twice each round.
• Snare Ability : When attacking enemies with Flying, removes the Flying ability and cannot miss.

Position 4: QUEEN MYCELIA

Queen Mycelia is a Earth Monster that can attack the target with a Magic Attack and has Protect Ability at level 1. And I put Queen Mycelia in the fourth position.

• Protect Ability : All friendly Units gain +2 Armor.

Position 5: DHAMPIR INFILTRATOR

Dhampir Infiltrator is a Dragon that can attack the target with Melee Attacks and has Sneak Ability and Double Strike Ability from level 1. And I put Dhampir Infiltrator in the fifth position.

• Sneak Ability : Targets the last Unit on the enemy Team instead of the first Unit.
• Double Strike Ability : This unit attacks twice each round.

Position 6: URAEUS

Uraeus is a Neutral Monster that can attack the target with Melee Attacks and has Sneak Ability from level 1. And I put Uraeus in the last position.

• Sneak Ability : Targets the last Unit on the enemy Team instead of the first Unit.

BATTLE COMMENTS

Frankly, the opposing player's strategy surprised me. If I had known that I would face such a team, I would have included the Amplify Ability in my lineup.

• Amplify Ability : Increases Magic Reflect, Return Fire, and Thorns damage to all enemy units by 1.

Round 1

In the first round, all monsters hit their targets except the Highland Archer. However, all monsters on the opposing team that hit their target took back damage, causing a huge disadvantage for them. Also, although Iziar had 14 health, it was destroyed in the first round by the brutal attacks of the Sneak Monsters, but no monsters from my team could be destroyed.

Round 2

n the second round, the opposing team was helpless against the brutal attacks of the Sneak Monsters, and each of them destroyed one monster from the opposing team, and all monsters on the opposing team took back damage, which increased the losses of the opposing team. At the end of the second round, while 3 more monsters from the opposing team were destroyed, all the monsters on my team were still alive.

Round 3

In the third round, there were only 2 monsters left in the opposing team and it was not difficult to destroy them and my team managed to win this battle in the third round.

Even though the battle cost 36 mana, it only lasted 3 rounds. And it was remarkable that while all the monsters on the opposing team were destroyed, all the monsters on my team were still alive, which showed that my strategy worked quite well in this battle. To be honest, my strategy was good, but I did not expect to win this battle so easily, I can say that the wrong strategy of the opponent player was effective in this. Maybe the opponent player didn't take the ruleset of the battle into consideration, maybe the opponent player trusted their team to be very powerful, frankly I don't know what the opponent player was thinking, but as a result, I'm happy to win this battle. BATTLE RESULTS

By the way, I said above that I don't like random attacks because they are based on luck. To explain why, I would like to tell you very briefly about one of my previous battles.

Although the opposing team was more powerful in this battle, Quora Towershead's attacks were incredibly good, and she destroyed almost all the enemies with random attacks, allowing me to win this difficult battle very easily. And I'm sure it was frustrating for the opponent. If you have time, I recommend you watch the battle from the Battle Link and you will understand better what I mean.
