Strategy in Splinterlands: Conquering AIMLESS with Poison

Hello, fellow Splinterlands warriors!

This week’s battle felt like solving a delightful puzzle with the thrilling combination of the AIMLESS, LOST LEGENDARIES, and BLOOD and SUNDER rulesets. With a mana cap of 38, I opted for the Death element, which I believed had a strong chance of dominating the battlefield.

Here’s my team lineup, as shown in the image:

I assembled a team led by CURSED WINDEKU as the tank, counting on its heal and thorn abilities to endure enemy attacks while dealing return damage. Behind it, VENARI BONESMITH unleashed deadly poison, while ARACHNE WEAVER exploited the opponent’s healing with corrupted healing. I added URAEUS for its sneak and poison, RAVENHOOD WARDEN to provide protect and inspire, and DHAMPIR STALKER with its true strike to ensure precision. My summoner of choice was DALLAN, granting my entire team the crippling ability of cripple!

My opponent relied heavily on magic attacks and healing abilities. Initially, I was a bit nervous because their high mana combination seemed formidable.

But I trusted my strategy: spreading poison, disrupting their healing, and shielding my team with RAVENHOOD WARDEN's protect.

The battle was a real adrenaline rush. The AIMLESS ruleset added unpredictability to every attack, making VENARI BONESMITH and URAEUS's poison even more impactful. Early in the match, the poison wreaked havoc on the enemy’s backline, significantly weakening their magic attackers.

CURSED WINDEKU and ARACHNE WEAVER's healing formed an impenetrable wall against the enemy's assaults. The extra armor from RAVENHOOD WARDEN proved invaluable, especially against their ranged attacks, which struggled to break through my defenses.

Victory came through the synergy of poison, healing, and shields. Even when the opponent still had a few sturdy monsters left, my relentless strategy gradually whittled them down, ensuring a hard-fought win.

This triumph left me both exhilarated and satisfied with the team I chose.
