Drain and suck out your life in one slash. SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge!
Hello everyone, and welcome to my splinterlands post. The Weekly Battle Challenge theme this week is Life Sapper. A death elemental magical attack monster.
The life sapper was a rare monster with the advantage of only having a few mana points. His attacks were a type of magic that could penetrate shields. However, as with other monster cards, there are some drawbacks. Life Sapper is a card from the chaos card series, which I frequently use in modern games.
Life sapper is a monster with a long range of attacks. The life sapper should be placed in the middle of the formation or behind the formation because life sappers have a limited number of health points. However, as the battle progresses, the life sapper's health points will increase due to his ability to leech life.
Additional skills will appear at the maximum level if you level up this card. Specifically, redemption is a skill that causes all enemies to suffer if the life sapper is taken out of the fight. In the regular version, you must combine 115 cards to obtain it.
The fight that I show is a moderate mana fight with 26 mana points. Only the elements of life, death, and water may be used. I chose to employ the element of death and rely on magical attacks.
My guess is that the enemy will use shield-based monsters. That's why I used a swarm of magic-wielding attacking monsters. However, this formation is extremely vulnerable to monsters with opportunity abilities. Nonetheless, I continued to use the line of monsters with small mana to match the total of 26 mana points. Because of the extra rules, such as fog of war (sneak monsters and snipe lose their abilities), my rearguard is safe from attacks.
I propose the following formation:
I designated the pelacor deceiver as a tank and front-line protector. His flying ability, combined with two melee attack points, will be extremely useful upfront. The possibility of the opponent's attack failing is very high. With ten health points, the pelacor deceiver can also last two or three rounds.
The carrion shade is a monster with few health points. The carrion shade would be unable to attack from this position. However, I am following the purpose of this monster because it will be a sacrifice if the enemy uses a monster with the ability opportunity.
The third monster was an ancient lich. With a 3-point magical attack, The ancient lich will finish off the enemy while absorbing their life points. The ability of Life Leech is advantageous when using this monster.
The spirit hoarder is up next. I positioned The spirit hoarder in the center to aid the ancient lich and other monsters behind the tank.
My combat team included a life sapper. I positioned the life sapper at the back of the line of archers. If the round is extended to four rounds, the health points will increase to six. It was sufficient to support my arrow attacker.
The final formation is soul strangler. With a limited supply of manna points, He was able to infiltrate this formation. The disadvantage is that there are only two health points. But don't worry because there's a fog of war rule in place. |
The fight has begun; the opponent employs a water element summoner who relies on shield and speed bonuses. However, monsters with magical abilities are also sent. Fortunately, the enemy's battle formation did not include any monsters with opportunity abilities.
All summoner bonuses, as well as bonuses from monster skills on the battlefield, are applied in the first round. I was able to take away one magical attack point and one health point from each enemy. While on the enemy side, speed and shield point both increase by one point. Plus two shield points from Venari Wavesmith.
The enemy begins attacking the pelacor deceiver and depletes his health points. While the pelacor deceiver, and soul strangler's attacks have yet to penetrate the opponent's shield.
It has no effect on the life sapper because the chaos agent was eliminated by the life sapper attack. Then came the spirit hoarder and the ancient lich attack, which managed to get rid of the cruel setthropod despite having a 4 point bonus shield.
The Pelacor deceiver is still defending against enemy attacks in this round. And, as in the previous round, the pelacor deceiver's and soul strangler's attacks were still blocked by the enemy's thick shield.
That's no problem for the life sapper, who has already gotten rid of the hardy stonefish. This propelled Nerissa Tridawn to the fore, making her an easy target for ancient lich and spirit hoarders.
Even though it is critical, the Pelacor deceiver survives the third round. His work with the soul strangler to demolish the shield is excellent. The life sapper, spirit hoarder, and ancient lich continued to deplete Nerissa tridawn's health points while increasing my team's life points. However, Nerissa has not been eliminated as of yet because she is receiving recovery assistance from Merdaali Guardian.
Nerissa Tridawn eliminates the pelacor deceiver and carrion shade in this round. This brought the ancient lich to the fore. However, due to the absorption of life points in the previous round, the ancient lich became defensively strong against the enemy.
Nerissa Tridawn and Merdaali Guardian were eliminated in this round. The only remaining venari wavesmith on the enemy's side performed a round 5 extension. My magical monster, however, provided no significant resistance. Finally, I was victorious in this fight.
In this battle, I benefit from the summoner I choose. I can subdue opposing monsters that rely on magic attacks by selecting taddius, which reduces magic attacks and health points.
Aside from summoners, the majority of the personnel I use have magical attacks that benefit me. I don't need to remove the enemy's shield to drain his health points. This is demonstrated by the life sapper, who managed to eliminate the opponent despite having a shield of 4 points.
The use of life sappers and ancient liches as soldiers in combat formations will be extremely beneficial because it not only reduces the opponent's health points but also increases the monster's health points. However, must be placed in the back row. Additional fog of war rules strongly supports this.
Life sapper will be very useful in small and medium manna battles where it will be extremely beneficial if the fight lasts a long time. Because the longer he is on the battlefield, the more health points he has. That is the benefit of life sapper.
That's all, and thank you for reading to the end. And have fun in the splinterlands.
