Thanks be to God Brethren, hope everyone is doing great today?

Yesterday's MCGI CARES was a wonderful one. And I want to share with us some important points I learned.

HERE ARE THE IMPORTANT POINTS I LEARNED.

• If you are a parent you should be an example to your children. The parent should be the first teacher to their children.
  Always have time for your kids, and give them adequate attention.
• Do not be too harsh to your kids, guide them and teach them the ways of God. If you do that, they will grow up to be good children for your and the society.
• In Ephesians 6:4; the Bible taught us that parents should not provoke their children, but raised them in the lovely discipline.
• If you keep the rod away from a child who does something wrong, it means you do not love the child. You are only using the rod to correct the child, not because you hate the child.
• In Proverbs 22:15, the rod is used to correct the child for their foolish act.
• God Himself teaches us and wants us to chastise a child. In that way, you are teaching him the right thing to be done.
• If you are going to correct your children, you as a parent must know the ways of God. Because that is what you will teach them.
• There are righteous teachings in the Bible, if we obey them, we will live long on the earth.
• In Proverbs 10:27, the bibe told us that the fear of the Lord prolongs life.
• And Ecclesiastes 12:13 exposed to us that all we are called to do is to fear God and keep his commandments.
• Let us live according to the Word of God.
• In Romans 12:20, I learned that we should not pay evil for evil, but we are to love even those that do or act wickedly toward us.
• If we follow the teachings of the Bible, we will do well.

WHAT TO DO IF A CHILD IS IN NEED.

We should offer to help the needy children even though they are not our biological children.

Every child is your child.

• We helping those needy children that are without hope, is bringing hope to them.
• If a child is hungry, we should treat them like our children and feed them in whatever way we can.
• In Proverbs 3:27; When you have the power to help, do not postpone, do not withhold as long as it is a good deed. Do it immediately.
• If we see an opportunity to do good, grab it immediately.

MY EXPECTATIONS THAT WERE IMPROVED BY LISTENING TO THE TEACHINGS

• I have learned that not only should we care for adults, but most importantly the needy children around us.
• As a father to be, it is my responsibility to provide and to bring up my child in the way of the Lord, if I want them to become good children.

HOW THE TEACHINGS HAS POSITIVELY IMPACTED ME

• Every child is my child, I henceforth see children as a gift and a blessing from God, so it is my responsibility to care for the Gifts and blessings of God.
• No matter how little I can, I will develop the attitude to help needy children in my community and town.
