Mi opinión sobre Barbie | @Rousess [ ESP/ENG]

Qué tal amigos de Hive! Espero esten bien, el día de hoy les traigo mi pequeña opinión sobre la película Barbie.

Howdy friends of hive! I hope you are well, today I bring you my little opinion about the Barbie movie.

Hace unas semanas tuve la oportunidad de ir al cine junto a mis dos mejores amigos para ver Barbie, la nueva película de Greta Gerwig. Afortunadamente, llegué a ese día sin spoilearme la trama.

A decir verdad, no sabía que esperar de la película, lo que sí es que tenía mucha intriga por saber el porqué las personas salían del cine llorando, pues no bastó llegar al final para darme cuenta de cuantos mensajes reflexivos traía la película.

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to go to the movies with my two best friends to see Barbie, Greta Gerwig's new film. Fortunately, I made it to that day without spoiling the plot.

To tell the truth, I didn't know what to expect from the movie, what I did know is that I was very intrigued to know why people left the cinema crying, because it wasn't enough to get to the end to realize how many reflective messages the movie had.

La muerte: La película trata el tema de la muerte de una manera directa y honesta. Considero que este tema es importante porque nos ayuda a entender que la muerte es una parte natural de la vida y que no debemos tener miedo de hablar de ella.

La crisis existencial: Barbie llega a un punto en el que se pregunta qué quiere hacer con su vida y cuál es su propósito, en esta parte claramente nos podemos identificar con ella, ya que todos en algún momento nos llegamos a sentir perdidos y confundidos.

El empoderamiento femenino: La película obviamente tiene su mensaje de empoderamiento femenino. Pues Barbie desde su creación nos ha hecho ver que podemos ser mujeres fuertes e independiente, capaces de perseguir nuestros sueños. Este es un mensaje importante y muy bonito porque muestra a las niñas que pueden ser lo que quieran ser y que no deben tener miedo de desafiar los estereotipos.

Death: The film deals with the subject of death in a direct and honest way. I consider this topic important because it helps us understand that death is a natural part of life and that we should not be afraid to talk about it.

The existential crisis: Barbie reaches a point where she wonders what she wants to do with her life and what her purpose is, in this part we can clearly identify with her, since we all feel lost and confused at some point.

Female empowerment:The movie obviously has a message of female empowerment. Since its creation, Barbie has made us see that we can be strong and independent women, capable of pursuing our dreams. This is an important and beautiful message because it shows girls that they can be whatever they want to be and that they should not be afraid to challenge stereotypes.

La manera en la que fueron abordados estos temas me parecieron de lo más genial, ya que estos temas suelen ser tabúes para muchas personas. Si bien es cierto que la trama no está dirigida para los niños, no entiendo por qué los comentarios llegan al punto de denigrar a la película.

The way in which these issues were approached seemed to me to be very cool, since these topics are usually taboo for many people. While it is true that the plot is not aimed at children, I don't understand why the comments go so far as to denigrate the film.

Para no generar comentarios negativos creo que se puede decir que Barbie fue dirigida para las generaciones que jugaron y crecieron con ella, pues a lo largo de la cinta se puede entender claramente como los problemas de la vida real nos atormentan sin darnos cuenta hasta que llegamos al punto de quiebre, que fue lo que paso con Barbie. Y aunque las personas no lo quieran aceptar la película si podría dejarles mensajes positivos a sus hijos, si se les explica correctamente. Pues lo problemas si tienen solución por muy grandes que sean, y creo que ese es uno de los primeros mensajes que nos otorga esta película.

In order not to generate negative comments I think it can be said that Barbie was directed for the generations that played and grew up with her, because throughout the film you can clearly understand how the problems of real life torment us without realizing it until we reach the breaking point, which is what happened with Barbie. And although people do not want to accept it, the film could leave positive messages to their children, if it is explained to them correctly. Problems can be solved no matter how big they are, and I think that is one of the first messages that this movie gives us.

Lo segundo que considero importante y válido de aclarar es que Barbie no buscaba humillar o mal poner al hombre, sino todo lo contrario, para los que no entendieron el final, ella lo único que quería era que Ken brillara por su propia cuenta.

The second thing that I consider important and valid to clarify is that Barbie did not seek to humiliate or put the man wrong, but on the contrary, for those who did not understand the end, she only wanted Ken to shine on his own.

Y bueno chicos y chicas para concluir este review finalizó con que Barbie es una película muy bien hecha, los escritores y directores de verdad se tomaron el tiempo para mostrar de manera “graciosa” los temas de la dura realidad. Creo que es una película que todos deberían ver, independientemente de su edad.

And well boys and girls to conclude this review ended with Barbie is a very well made movie, the writers and directors really took the time to show in a "funny" way the issues of harsh reality. I think it is a movie that everyone should see, regardless of their age.

Si vieron el Film y tienen un pensamiento errado de ella los invito a verla de nuevo pero esta vez con la mente abierto, pues el mensaje que nos deja es que todos somos especiales y que podemos lograr grandes cosas.
