Unboxing Mini UPS de la Marca OLAX [Esp/Eng]

Mi niña interior y mi adulto de ahora se encuentran muy felices porque al fin he logrado comprar el aparato que va a quitar un poco de estrés para esos momentos en los que estoy trabajando y se va la energía eléctrica.
Creo que no es secreto de que últimamente en Venezuela el tema de la energía eléctrica es bastante inestable, algo que es algo negativo para las personas que trabajamos de manera remota y que se vuelve muy incómodo el siempre estar escribiéndole al Jefe para decirle que me dé unos minutos que se fue la luz, o deme unos minutos mientras me muevo de lugar y otro par de cosas que uno trata de hacer para poder cumplir, pero, que al fin, son situaciones realmente incómodas porque nada como estar en su casa y más cuando se manejan temas de suma delicadeza y hay que tener cuidado de las redes donde nos conectamos.

My inner child and my adult now are very happy because I have finally managed to buy the device that will take away a little stress for those moments when I am working and the power goes out.
I think it is no secret that lately in Venezuela the electric energy issue is quite unstable, something that is something negative for people who work remotely and it becomes very uncomfortable to always be writing to the boss to tell him to give me a few minutes that the power went out, or give me a few minutes while I move from place to place and a couple of other things that one tries to do in order to comply, but, in the end, are really uncomfortable situations because nothing like being at home and even more when you are dealing with very sensitive issues and you have to be careful of the networks where we connect.

El tema de la energía eléctrica me ha estado dando muy duro y la quincena ya estaba como comprometida y bastante lejos la verdad, así que, acudí a mi gente de @rutablockchain con quienes ya había tomado alguno que otro préstamo y si, me aprobaron un nuevo préstamo y de verdad que estoy muy agradecida por la gestión tan impecable que realizan y sobre todo por la confianza.
Bueno, el tema es que gracias a esto he logrado comprar un Mini UPS de la marca OLAX que tiene una capacidad considerable para el almacenamiento de energía y así tiene también mayor probabilidad de durar mucho tiempo encendido.

The issue of electricity has been giving me very hard and the fortnight was already as committed and quite far away the truth, so I went to my people of @rutablockchain with whom I had already taken some other loan and yes, they approved me a new loan and I am really very grateful for the impeccable management they do and especially for the confidence.
Well, the thing is that thanks to this I have managed to buy a Mini UPS OLAX brand that has a considerable capacity for energy storage and thus also has a greater chance of lasting a long time on.

Esta compra que realice, trae el cable que conecta desde el mini UPS al tomacorriente y trae un cable tipo Y que tiene tres conectores que sirven para conectar el Modem y el router. Lo cual, para mi caso, es muy funcional porque mis dispositivos de internet son por separados y no son de esos que son todo en uno.

This purchase I made, brings the cable that connects from the mini UPS to the outlet and brings a Y type cable that has three connectors that serve to connect the Modem and the router. Which, for my case, is very functional because my internet devices are separate and are not one of those that are all in one.

Este mini UPS tiene el conector donde va el cable de alimentación eléctrica, tiene los puertos desde donde se conectan el modem, el router y cualquier otro tipo de cable que sea acorde con este tipo de puerto.
Estos puertos están identificados de la siguiente manera:

• Puerto 12 V
• Puerto 9 V
• Puerto 5 V
  Según con lo que me explicaron en la tienda, estos sirven para identificar y para conectar el dispositivo con el puerto correspondiente según los V que consume.
  El mini Ups también tiene un para conexión POE y para cables tipo USB.

Este también tiene un pequeño interruptor que sirve para seleccionar la cantidad de V que podrá suministrar el Mini UPS a los equipos que tengamos conectados a el.

This mini UPS has the connector where the power cable goes, it has the ports from where the modem, the router and any other type of cable that is in accordance with this type of port are connected.
These ports are identified as follows:

• 12 V port
• Port 9 V
• Port 5 V
  According to what was explained to me in the store, these are used to identify and connect the device with the corresponding port according to the V it consumes.
  The mini Ups also has one for POE connection and for USB cables.
  This also has a small switch that serves to select the amount of V that can supply the Mini UPS to the equipment that we have connected to it.

La instalación del mini UPS es bastante sencilla y ayuda mucho el cable tipo Y que trae porque así guardas los cables originales de cada aparato y solo conectas con el que ya trae el Mini UPS. En mi caso, lo conecté al Puerto de 12 V, ya que mi modem ocupa los 12 V, y, mi router, sí solo ocupa 9 V, pero, con conectarlo a ese solo puerto de 12 V es suficiente.
Otra cosa es que en el interruptor que trae el Mini UPS, el trae para colocarlo en 24 V o 15 V. Por recomendación, me dijeron que lo colocara en 15 V, ya que sería suficiente para suministrar energía a los dispositivos que tengo conectados en el.
(Allí no es donde deje todo instalado, solo lo deje allí un momento para tomar la foto y compartirla con ustedes porque estos dispositivos van como escondido de la vista)

The installation of the mini UPS is quite simple and the Y type cable that comes with it helps a lot because this way you keep the original cables of each device and only connect to the one that already comes with the Mini UPS. In my case, I connected it to the 12 V port, since my modem occupies the 12 V, and my router only occupies 9 V, but connecting it to that single 12 V port is enough.
Another thing is that in the switch that brings the Mini UPS, it brings to place it in 24V or 15V. By recommendation, I was told to place it in 15 V, as it would be enough to supply power to the devices that I have connected to it.

(That's not where I left everything installed, I just left it there for a moment to take the picture and share it with you because these devices are kind of hidden from view).

Ahora, la pregunta del millón, ¿cuánto tiempo dura esto encendido?
Pues, a mí, con tener conectado solo el router y el modem me duro un total de 5 Horas y lo que más me gustó es su tamaño porque así puedo llevarlo a cargar por una hora o dos horas y de nuevo ya tengo internet en casa mientras espero a que llegue la energía eléctrica. Claro, esta última opción es un caso como extremo, no, pero, no estaría de más tenerlo en mente.

Now, the million dollar question, how long does it last on?
Well, for me, with only the router and the modem connected, it lasted a total of 5 hours and what I liked the most is its size because I can take it to charge for an hour or two hours and again I have internet at home while waiting for the power to arrive. Of course, this last option is an extreme case, no, but, it wouldn't hurt to keep it in mind.

Este aparato tuvo un costo de 45 USD aquí donde vivo, claro, en mercado libre se consiguen hasta en 30 USD, pero, no sé si alguno recuerda que tuve una mala experiencia comprando por allá de la vez que perdí 200 USD y, uy, plata dispuesta para comprar este tipo de cosas es plata que duele porque es un esfuerzo que se hace para mejorar la comodidad y poder continuar trabajando la mayor cantidad de horas posibles.

Bueno, si estás pensando en una solución económica para tener internet aun cuando no tengas energía eléctrica, esta es muy buena opción que te permitirá continuar conectado.
