Visitamos a la odontopediatra (Esp-Eng)

Hola, ¿qué tal? Amigos de Hive el día de hoy vengo a contarle cómo le ha ido a mi bebé en sus citas con la odontopediatra.

Primero que nada me gustaría contarle la historia de cómo a mi bebé le fueron saliendo algunas caries, esto fue debió al hierro que le daba qué le fueron manchando sus dientes por la parte de atrás al punto de salirle caries y llegarle a dañar un diente por completo.

Debido a esto que estaba sucediendo ya no le seguí dando más hierro y me puse en contacto con una odontopediatra que me recomendaron para llevar a mi hijo. Al ponerme en contacto con la odontopediatra me dijo que la primera cita tenía un costo de $20, esta consulta incluía instrucción de higiene oral y alimentación, diagnóstico y plan de tratamiento y cualquier proceso que se llegara a realizar tendría un valor aparte ya partir de la siguiente cita no se pagaba los $20 sino el valor de lo que se iba a realizar.

Hello, how are you? Friends of Hive today I come to tell you how my baby has been doing in his appointments with the pediatric dentist.

First of all I would like to tell you the story of how my baby was getting some cavities, this was due to the iron I was giving him which was staining his teeth in the back to the point of getting cavities and damaging a tooth completely.

Because of this that was happening I stopped giving him more iron and I contacted a pediatric dentist that I was recommended to take my son. When I contacted the pediatric dentist she told me that the first appointment had a cost of $20, this consultation included oral hygiene and feeding instruction, diagnosis and treatment plan and any process that would be done would have a separate value and from the next appointment the $20 was not paid but the value of what was going to be done.

Yo le dije que estaba muy bien, que me apartara una cita para llevar a mi hijo lo más rápido posible, que ya no queríamos que los dientes de mi bebé se siguieran dañando, en la primera cita la verdad fue que la chica fue muy amable y cariñosa tanto con mi hijo y con nosotros nos brindó muy buena atención.

El diagnóstico y plan de tratamiento que nos dio fue que debíamos empezar sacándole el diente que tenía dañado porque ya no se podía restaurar, ya que la carie estaba muy avanzada y con respecto a los otros dientes podíamos restaurar y quitar las caries.

A mí la verdad me puso un poco triste que le fueran a sacar su diente, pero era algo que se debía hacer, le dije a la chica que estaba bien que me agendara un turno para la siguiente semana y así fue se llegó el día y llevamos a nuestro hijo. Santi estaba muy tranquilo cuando la odontopediatra nos estaba dando las instrucciones de cómo debíamos sostenerlo, pero al momento de acostarlo se asustó y comenzó a llorar y hacer fuerza para que lo soltaran.

The diagnosis and treatment plan she gave us was that we should start by taking out the tooth that was damaged because it could no longer be restored, since the decay was very advanced and with respect to the other teeth we could restore and remove the cavities.

I was a little sad that they were going to take out his tooth, but it was something that had to be done, I told the girl that it was ok to schedule an appointment for the following week and so it was, the day arrived and we took our son. Santi was very calm when the pediatric dentist was giving us the instructions of how we should hold him, but when we put him to bed he got scared and started to cry and force to be released.

Al momento de sacarle el diente la chica fue bastante rápida, le aplicó anestesia en la encía y luego con una pinza se lo saco nos lo mostró y si el diente estaba dañado completamente nos dijo que esto era algo que se debía hacer. Luego de haberle sacado el diente debíamos esperar durante 15 días para seguir con la restauración de los demás dientes.

Después que pasaron los 15 días me puse en contacto nuevamente con la odontopediatra para agendarle otra cita para continuar con la restauración de los otros dientes en esta siguiente cita cuando llegamos al consultorio mi hijo se acordó y se asustó y comenzó a llorar, luego de que logre calmarlo por un rato la chica empezó a restaurante su diente, esta vez nos costó un poco más porque Santiago estaba llorando y no se quería calmar, sin embargo, la chica trataba de distraerlo y hacerlo reír para que se dejara hacer la restauración luego de que terminó lo premio con un rompecabezas.

En la siguiente cita llegó un poco más tranquilo y el proceso fue más rápido, luego de que terminó la chica con la restauración del otro diente le obsequió unos legos y esta vez se puso colorear con él para que él vaya perdiendo el miedo, ya casi terminamos de combatirle todas las caries.

She applied anesthesia to the gum and then with a tweezers she took it out and showed it to us and if the tooth was completely damaged she told us that this was something that had to be done. After the tooth was removed we had to wait for 15 days to continue with the restoration of the other teeth.

After 15 days passed I contacted again with the pediatric dentist to schedule another appointment to continue with the restoration of the other teeth in this next appointment when we arrived to the office my son remembered and got scared and started to cry, after I managed to calm him for a while the girl started to restore his tooth, this time it cost us a little more because Santiago was crying and did not want to calm down, however, the girl tried to distract him and make him laugh so he would let us do the restoration after he finished I reward him with a jigsaw puzzle.

In the next appointment he arrived a little bit calmer and the process was faster, after the girl finished with the restoration of the other tooth she gave him some legos and this time she started coloring with him so he would lose his fear, we almost finished fighting all the cavities.

Cada 7 días lo estoy llevando para que le vayan restaurando diente por diente, la verdad es que estoy superfeliz del trabajo que le está realizando la odontopediatra a mi hijo, hasta ahora le ha quedado muy bien.

Every 7 days I am taking him to have his teeth restored tooth by tooth, the truth is that I am very happy with the work that the pediatric dentist is doing to my son, so far he has been doing very well.
