Celebrating Birthday of our BOSS

First of December is a special day for me. First of all, it’s the birthday of my lovely brother Shabhai and secondly, its also birthday of my Boss. Both at work and at home, we have a party time but this time, it was a bit different because my bro was not at home and busy at some other place so I visited him at night and spent the first hour of first December with him, wishing him but missed the party which is still pending to be held at home once he gets back. However, at work, all the employees celebrated Boss’s Birthday with great pleasure.

It is the big occasion for our company and all of us do enjoy and participate in celebrating this big day. Two weeks earlier, we were discussing and planning for the gifts and organizing the party. No lies, I was not in mood to contribute and clearly stated that I am out of cash and won’t be able to contribute for the party as we did last time but yes for the gift as it won’t be much and we all can contribute for a better gift. I think most of the people gave the same impression due to which party i.e. lunch was withdrawn. I am not sure but maybe one of the upper management guy took this matter with the Boss and finally, there was lunch arranged by the BOSS himself hhmmm this is something really nice.

No doubt, our Boss is a superb man with a great personality. He is always up for these lunch and dinner parties and he did it once again. However, it was kept as a surprise till the first of December. No one knows the menu and arrangements, just couple of people.

On this special day, I woke up late and was feeling a bit dizzy so, was confused whether to skip the party or try to make it to attend it. I decided to take rest for couple of hours and then made my mind to go to the office. Party time was 2 pm and it was Friday so have to perform Friday prayers in the mosque. Finally, I got ready for the office and reached there at 1 pm, offered Friday prayers and then waited for the party to begin in the office. Office was decorated with balloons and cake was waiting for the Boss to put knife on.

Sharp 2 pm, everyone gathered and wished the Boss and we had cake cutting ceremony. He was very happy to see the love of his employees for him. His family was also invited and it was a nice moment, captured this moment through some of the pictures taken by the staff. Flowers were presented to the Boss, wow amazing colorful flowers, looking really nice. Then he invited all of us to the rooftop where lunch was waiting for us all.

There were kababs, Chicken Boti, Parathas, Qeema and Halwa. Half of the staff along with the family of Boss enjoyed the food whereas other half including me, were waiting for the second shift. We were passing the time by making fun of other people who were busy filling the plates inside the dining hall. It was like they were not ready to left much for the other half. Finally, when all of them left then our team occupied the place to have lunch. I won’t say that nothing was left but I would say that they tried their best to do so lol. it was still enough for us and we enjoyed the food, it was delicious. Our Boss came to check on us and asked if anything is missing or required, the great Boss who takes care and look after his staff like a family. it was all good and then, we ate cake after lunch which was yummy.

The frames were wonderfully positioned in the Boss room. It was pending for a long time and was successfully done on this day. The T-shirt with signatures and wishes from all employees which was gifted to him last year was finally framed and hanged in his room on his very request. He was not ready to put it somewhere else. He liked it a lot. Overall, it was a nice decent party and we enjoyed celebrating our Boss Birthday. Cheers!!!!
