Hello Hivers

This afternoon I was walking around the village to get some fresh air, my health condition has not fully recovered, but because I was too late, I was driving to remote corners of the village and accidentally saw my friend giving fertilizer on his plantation land, so I stopped by to see and ask him some gardening tips,

In total there are three different types of plants that my friend has, each type of plant is planted on a plot of land measuring about one hectare, but what you see above is a land for melons and cucumbers, one more land is a pumpkin, but I didn't take a picture the pumpkin field, and I will review the two types of plants above after I get permission from my friend to publish the field here, let's start with melons first

This is a type of honey melon that has been aged for 30 days and looks to be thriving, that is all of course the results expected by all farmers, especially melons, caring for melons is not easy, they require special care and it takes time to learn planting techniques. good melons, but here my friend proves that he has succeeded, in fact he has tasted satisfying melon harvests dozens of times, he also happens to be a young agricultural scholar who is active in all fields concerning agriculture, but that is not what I want to discuss, but about the melons it has

Some trees look like they are releasing flowers, while some others look like they are already bearing fruit, and each stem only shows two melons which are intentional, because that is one of the techniques for growing melons, all the fruit will be cut and only the best two fruits will be allowed to grow , until harvest time arrives

The melon that you see above is a type of honey melon, and it is estimated that it will be harvested in 35 days. let's see, that's what my friend said about this melon, I really can't wait to see how the harvest will be

The flesh of this melon is white and a little soft, but sweeter than other melons. That is the advantage of honey melon. The price on the market is also a little more expensive than other types of melon. That's why my friend prefers to cultivate this type of honey melon than ordinary melon. , even though the treatment method is also a little more complicated, if it works, the results will be very satisfying

I actually also really want to try growing melons, but I don't have suitable land to plant them. As I said before, caring for melons is not as easy as caring for other plants, too complicated and requires expertise, especially for people who don't have much time like me. it will be useless

This melon flower is also very beautiful to look at, and at first glance the tree is also similar to a cucumber, even at first I thought that the cucumber field beside it was also a melon field, but I was wrong, let's take a look at the following cucumber field

Well, this is a cucumber field which is right next to the melon field. At first glance, these two plants are very similar, right?

This cucumber is already 20 days old, and the harvest period of this cucumber is 60 days from the time of planting it, which means that this cucumber can be harvested right after the melon harvest later, a brilliant idea isn't it, as well as the pumpkin at the far end of the field , my friend gives a harvest distance that is not much different from one plant to another, that is the expertise of this young farmer

In the picture you can see at a glance two people who are in this cucumber field, they are my friends who are giving fertilizer to their plants

That's the fertilizer my friend uses, you can see that there are two types of fertilizer which are mixed thoroughly and sprinkled on each bed of this plant, it is urea fertilizer which has two functions and is usually used when the plant is still young, for its size I think not too influential because this is basic fertilizer, but not too much, it will be fatal for plants, regardless of the type, excess fertilizer will result in damaged plants

The cucumber fields also look watery. This was deliberately done so that the air temperature in the fields would be balanced, especially in an erratic season like today, even in the afternoon the sun still shines brightly and hotly.

The fasting month is the month when the price of fruits will increase, that is because many traders make iftar drinks from fruits, therefore, currently there are many farmers who grow crops like this

So overall, I am really inspired by this friend of mine, at his still relatively young age, he has succeeded in inspiring many people in terms of agriculture, there are even many agricultural service people who come directly to see and learn techniques for growing melons from my friend, it is not uncommon for him to be called out of town to give seminars to farmers in my area

So, for now, that's all I can share, thank you for everything and see you soon, and because it happens to be Wednesday, then this is the #Wednesdaywalk moment by @tattoodjay 😅🙏
