The Flying Tea Lover : A Surreal Digital Artwork

In India, tea is a very important meal of the day. Our mornings are always incomplete without them and minimum three to four times we must have it to make our day a great day.

Today I thought of making some fun digital artwork with my tea addiction. This is yellow goldfinch bird and we have created it the most creative way in an very green and bright environment. I have made this artwork with the help of Adobe Photoshop. When we allow our imagination to flow freely, we often come across these creative ideas.

Now let us see all the steps we have taken to make this wonderful and fun artwork in Adobe Photoshop.

Step 1. Opening the image of the bird sitting on a branch.

Step 2. Separating the hand from the model with pen tool and placing on separate layers.

Step 3. Adjusting the color of the hands with hue and saturation to make it like the color of the bird.

Step 4. Adding the feather on it by the patch tool and blending it with the bird's body.

Step 5. Adding Smoke arising from the hot tea.

Step 6. Adding some greenery to make the scene more eye pleasing.

Step 7. Applying camera raw filter to give desired color grading to it.
