My name is Nwabueze Adanna gift ( Aiyedege means a child is a king while Damilola means the first daughter of her father in my language) Am 23 year old female from Nigeria, Delta state. Am a graduate of political science (B.Sc)Abrose Alli University. my best food is ofe Nsala(white soup with pounded yam (an Igbo delicacy in the south eastern part of Nigeria😍)

. Nigerian has three main ethnic groups with three unique languages which are ( Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba ) but there are many other languages in Nigeria, I am from the Igbo speaking tribe but I speak Igbo and Yoruba with English.

For me, growing up in a polygamous family further emphasized the value of becoming someone of substance, regardless of gender.

As the cherished daughter of my mother, the legitimate wife of my father, I stood as a unique symbol of hope and promise in our household, surrounded by four adoring brothers. While my parents emphasized the importance of education, they also recognized the transformative power of hands-on skills. Thus, alongside my pursuit of formal education, I embarked on a journey to cultivate my talents as a graphic designer and a makeup artist.

Through dedication and passion, I honed my skills in graphic design, immersing myself in the art of visual communication. Simultaneously, I ventured into the world of makeup, discovering a realm where creativity and artistry could transform a person's confidence and self-expression.

The spirit of entrepreneurship flowed in my veins as I began selling men's clothing, not just to support myself but also to contribute to my education. Balancing academia and business in pursuit of self-reliance was undoubtedly challenging, but the journey shaped me into a resilient individual, embracing the diversity of experiences life had to offer.

Navigating the complexities of a polygamous family was an additional layer to my life's canvas. My childhood experience

Growing up as the only daughter in my family, I found myself enveloped in a world of expectations and cultural norms that dictated the path I should tread. In Nigeria, particularly among the Igbo community, parents often make decisions for their daughters, shaping their lives according to long-held traditions. Thus, from a tender age, I was gently guided towards becoming the ideal daughter.

In the embrace of such expectations, I discovered a unique sense of responsibility—one that urged me to follow the prescribed path laid out for me. While my brothers roamed freely, playing ball and exploring the world outside, I found solace in the confines of our home. I was told whom to avoid, which activities to abstain from, and how to conduct myself, all in the pursuit of fulfilling the image of the perfect daughter.

Social interactions were kept to a minimum, as I was encouraged to stay away from those who might challenge the norms set for me. Without many friends to confide in, I became my own companion, seeking solace in my creativity. Drawing and painting became my sanctuaries, as I found solace in the world I could create on paper.

My father's love meant the world to me, and I strived relentlessly to become the epitome of his dreams. I embraced the role of the ideal daughter, respecting traditions and adhering to the expectations set for me. Yet, amidst the confines of these expectations, I yearned for a touch of freedom, a chance to explore the world beyond the walls of my home.
