Weekend Moments
Life must be filled with moments, memories and experiences that last through time. I think that many times we are not aware or we forget how short life is and we don't take advantage of every day we live.
Hello friends of Weekend, happy to be with you again to tell you about a super different, fun and enriching experience that I shared two Sundays ago with my children and a group of friends.
I tell you that a few months ago after a very strong anxiety crisis that forced me to be medicated for several months (I still am, but I left one of the drugs already, yessssss), I decided to make a radical change in my life.
What does this change consist of? To LIVE! Just as you read it, to live! And for me that living is to try to enjoy every day that we have the blessing of being alive. Living without thinking so much about what we don't have, but what we do have. Seize every moment and say YES to every adventure that comes our way.
I am the type of person who tends to think things through, every step is measured, trying to look for perfection in everything. But after my health problems I decided that it is not worth risking my mental stability and even my life for this kind of things.
I learned that I can't control everything and that's okay, I learned that perfection doesn't exist and that I don't know what tomorrow will bring, so I shouldn't worry about it, but focus on living in the present. One day at a time, with the good and the bad, because everything leaves us with something.
So now I go out more than before, I enjoy more with my family and friends and ultimately I am happier.
And in that intention to take advantage of every opportunity a few Sundays ago we went to a friend's house who practically has a farm as I usually say because she has chickens producing eggs, a rabbit farm, goats to produce cheese and cream cheese, pigs, parrots, dogs and stop counting.
She is the mother of one of my son's best friends and as you can imagine my kids LOVE going to her house and why deny that I do too hehe. It is a place where you can definitely breathe a good energy surrounded by so much nature.
Of course their house is the "base of operations" every time the kids have some school activity for which they have to get together and to these activities Sangiago's mom joins, who completes the trio of the three musketeers.
Matias (my son), Santiago and Arturo have been friends since preschool, that is, they have been friends for nine years and we have lived many beautiful moments together, the three families that for me are part of my family.
Each one of us has two children. Flor and I have a boy and a girl and Claudi (the owner of the farm) has two boys. The children range in age from 12 to 7 years old and I can tell you that they get along wonderfully. They really enjoy being together, which is great for us.
When we get together they enjoy it and we enjoy it and this time we met to help them with a job they had assigned at their school.
What they had to do was to create a product, give it a commercial identity, create a logo and a slogan, so we took advantage of Claudi's goats to prepare Cream Cheese!
The whole process was a completely new experience for me and the kids. We were able to milk the goats, something I had never done before and I can tell you that I did it very well haha. There is a technique to do it without discomfort to the animal.
You have to take the udder in a particular way and do it with a certain rhythm and softness because otherwise it kicks! Just as you read it, it KICKS hahaha. Luckily she stayed very still while I did it.
The kids took the opportunity to meet some of the newborns, they played with them and even fed them. The truth for them are unique experiences and I am happy that they can enjoy them with their friends.
As the property is quite big they took the opportunity to run and play as much as they could. We took a break and Claudi explained to them the process of making goat cream cheese, which is really very simple.
The milk must be passed through a very fine strainer, put over medium heat until it comes to a boil and then it is turned off. At that point add white vinegar (30 ml per liter) so that the milk is cut and let it stand until it cools down.
Then it is strained again to eliminate the whey, taken to the blender and seasoned according to your taste. We were not able to see this step because I had to do the waiting cycle once the vinegar was added, but it was very enriching to learn how to prepare it and above all to see how simple it is.
The children decided to call the cheese "The Three Musketeers" in reference to them and their great friendship. They also created a logo and a slogan with our help.
"Soft and tasty, fresh and creamy " was the slogan they decided to use to promote their product.
I can tell you that these types of activities are not only enjoyed by the boys who play a little bit of everything and especially there who have the freedom to run around and do things they normally don't do, but for us it is refreshing to be able to have a good time chatting.
Weekends like these definitely take us out of the routine and fill our lives with wonderful experiences, because when do we get the chance to milk a goat? Haha, it's definitely not an everyday thing.
So let's take advantage of every day and stop living half-heartedly. Let's LIVE!
Kisses and blessings

Happy beginning of the week, my fraternal friend
What a beautiful sunflower and beautiful experience of walking and contact with nature, that exalts the hearts of children and adults.
The goat is a cutie and the experience of milking is magical, when you have their udders in your hands the feeling of warmth and life is unimaginable.
I remember my maternal grandmother's goat pen .... how beautiful it all is.
God bless your lives.
Have the best possible start of the week @rlathulerie
Thank you friend for stopping by to read my post.
Yes it was a nice and refreshing day, I love the river, for its fresh water and little sun.
Greetings and blessings.
Definitely going to that place is something wonderful, it takes us out of the routine and we all enjoy it, it is a kind of total disconnection and being able to share with all these animals is simply great. Greetings friend and blessings.
Being able to get out of the routine from time to time is a recharge of happiness that allows you to keep going.
As well as spending pleasant moments with friends and family.
Enjoy every moment, that's what we really have left and also teach your children about the importance of enjoying life in its small details.
